  • Cuts easy - template/guide foam is great!
Blades cut well and the guide foam made the cuts easy! Eight holes needed in tiling a bath remod. All finished well (with diamond cone). Great value! Cuts tile easily! Utility of foam guide! In pic, I went a little oversize as the water lines had some flex and the escutcheons had plenty of size.

  • Got the job done
Was having a hard time drilling holes in thick whiskey bottles (making some cool lamps), and these bits got it done.

  • Comparable, and works
Cheaper alternative and works just as well. Though it does take some time but it all has the same result.

  • Strong Diamond Hole Saw Kit With Good Range and Guide Jig
This 10-piece diamond hole saw kit is a solid set for drilling clean holes in tile, glass, granite, and marble. The bits cover a wide range of sizes (6–50 mm), which means you can handle many different hole diameters for lights, pipes, outlets, or fixtures. The diamond brazed edges cut smoothly and stay sharp longer than simple carbide bits. With the EVA guide jig, it is easier to start drilled holes without wandering, which makes drilling ceramic or glass much more controlled. I used both dry and wet cutting depending on the material. Wet cutting helps reduce dust and keeps the bits cooler, so they last longer. The EVA guide is helpful but not perfect, you still need to keep steady pressure and start slowly. The included storage bag is nice for keeping everything organized, and the range of sizes means you probably won’t need another set for a while. Overall, a good value set with useful size options and decent performance. Just remember to take your time and use water when possible for longer bit life and cleaner holes. ... show more

  • Not a good first impression
Ordered these for two future tile projects. The last two projects took some of the life out of my diamond hole saws, so I wanted these on hand as backups. The price is considerably lower than the larger sets on Amazon, so I wondered about their longevity, but this was not a deal breaker for me. Each bit only has to cut a very few holes. In the past I have only used smooth diamond bits on tile so I do wonder if having teeth may make for a more ragged start. In the case of shower projects with escutcheons the holes do not have to be perfect, but large chips would not be acceptable. Since I did not want to wear the bits down needlessly, I was not going to test them now; however, in installing a porcelain lampholder I had to use the inner holes which have porcelain knockouts. So rather than a hammer and punch, I chucked up the ¼ inch bit and began to drill out a knockout. After two minutes and being at best 1/3 of the way through, I grabbed the hammer and punch and easily knocked out both knockouts. I did use the sides of the bit to clean up the holes. If this is typical of the bits cutting speed, I will be passing them on to someone with a lot of patience. ... show more
