I wondered what sea salt might smell like -- the pungent aroma that hits you as you sail through Narragansett Bay's East Passage and suck in the scent of Atlantic wind? No matter ... I like sage just as much. One of em's gonna be good, eh? Put a match to it and .... uhmm. Nothing. True, I had no gongs gonging, no shakuhachi shakuhaching, no zen zenning. Still, these weren't listed as requirements. Even sage -- which I figured had to be there -- wasn't. Maybe it's my nose, but scented candles usually deliver something I can smell. The container is nice & when lit the light red glow is a light red candlelight light. From China, it's likely aimed at sitting on some cool shelf with crystals, incense and maybe a singing bowl. The good news is that it burns fairly rapidly, so I'll be able to replace it with something a bit more obvious on the nose soon. ... show more
