No instructions in set ( on wrapper ?) but the “no tool” release action works well and is easily figured out. My 2 inch hole saw cut four holes in 1+ inch thick particle board with ease!

I just received the Diablo 9PC Hole Saw kit and right out of the box I am impressed. I have other Diablo products that I love, so I'm not surprised which is also part of the reason I selected this kit. The pieces are housed in a durable, plastic, single hinge box with slots for each piece to keep them from rolling around inside. Five saws with a quick disconnect feature that eliminates the need to wrench the pilot bit onto the saw as in older style hole saws; I really like that. The QD also holds the saw firmly in place unlike other tools I use that slip around due to a loose fit. I also like the larger vents on the sides of the saws that allow for better cooling while cutting. I used it today making some holes in 1/2" MDF which is far from the toughest test, but it went through it quite easily. I see other users have had problems with the QD while cutting tougher stock and problems cutting through metal. I'll have to come back to provide my input on those items.

Absolutely love the quick change option . One thing to be aware of if using the retro nuts that come with the kit, if your bit diameter is smaller than the spring collar (about 1.5in) as soon as you drill through the hole your drill will engage the spring release and the bit will come flying off. If you are drilling into a hidden compartment, goodbye bit. Ask me how I know! The bits are sharp and I wish I had more.

Very easy to use. Holds the hole saw tight. Have not used it a lot just a few holes but, its holding very well. I have used other hole saws and the durability is not what this saw is. I like this kit because it has my most used sizes. I would buy it again.

Good tool makes work easier

Good whole saw kit with a removeable pilot bit. Used it to repair a drier by cutting the broken plastic blower wheel off the hub so I could get the old blower wheel out. I managed to get the pilot bit out a few times, not sure if there is a certain thing you need to do to get it out other than pulling down like you are changing the whole saw off the bit. Easy to change the size of the whole saw. Just a quick release for that. Occasionally the pilot bit will come out when you change the whole saw but not every time. Bought these because the pilot bit can come out. Now I have a good whole saw kit for making wholes anytime I need them. I have used them to make holes in wood, plastic and thin metal. They work on all those things. Based on the name I could not say if they are really Diablo hole saws, but they look like them and work well.

I actually haven’t got to use these yet but comparing them to my Milwaukee and Dewalt they seem better I love the quick change very happy with the kit come in a very nice box can’t wait to try them out I might review if I have any issues but they seem to be a really great quality just like anything I’ve ever bought from Diablo is always top of the line I’m still on my first hacksaw blade from Diablo that I used to cut down trees and limbs and such and I took out a 4 inch tree in less than three seconds
