I doubt he’ll use the footrest, it seems kinda flimsy, but it’s a fun touch. Comfortable chair, adjusts easy, easy to put together (no instructions provided though). He’s a bigger guy, and this chair is perfect. I’ll update this if we have any problems with it UPDATE: I purchased this chair at the end of January, it’s now May 5th. We had to replace the wheels almost immediately. The wheels it comes with are fully plastic and sounded like they were going to break any second. After we replaced them, it was perfect. Now, he’s saying the padding on the bottom of the chair is wearing out and the metal underneath is hurting a lot when he sits. He’s a big guy, but much less than the maximum weight restriction. Took me about 30 minutes to put together with a toddler “helping”. Easy to assemble and my husband said it’s very comfortable. He likes how he can recline it to get into a comfortable position. The chair is comfy and very sturdy. My only downside would be the leg rest is the only bad part. It's flimsy and doesn't extend out long enough for a tall person, short person it's perfect. Real nice wide and comfortable seat. Casters work great, rolls very smooth and quiet. Easy to put together but it will take a little while because the legs need to be assembled, it's not a one piece. Adjustments work very well. I think the leg support feature is a joke though. I tried it out and its rather odd and I can't see ever using that leg support, just go to bed if you need to lie down. Save your money and do not buy this chair. This chair quality is not at all what it claims. After 1 month of use the chair cushion was completely flat and it felt like you were sitting on a piece of wood. I purchased this as a gift for my son who has to sit for long periods of time for school. I did contact the company and they said send pictures. I haven't heard anything else so here I am getting ready to buy him another chair 3 months after buying this one. ... show more

Used daily as a teacher chair.. 5'11" Well under the 300lb rating: Pros: Comfortable. Putting it together was a chore but straightforward. Stitching and construction held up. Cons: Low to begin with. Being a bigger heavy set man. This seat is actually really comfortable to sit in. Good back support to. I have too long of legs to use the pull out thing for your legs to rest on, but it feels pretty sturdy. My cat likes to sleep on it while I play games. The wheels are just fine. For the price of this chair I thought it was gonna be bad. It’s actually very comfortable and the foot rest is perfect for my size I’m 6ft. The only downside was it did not have any instructions , but I was able to build it in 1hr without them so bc it’s price and how seemingly easy it was to build it gets 5 stars from me. Now if you are looking for an amazing chair this one isn’t for you for its price this chair is comfortable but it is not as good as the more expensive chairs so if you’re looking for a good cheap chair this one is the best for you.! ... show more
