Attractive barn lights at an affordable price. While they don't include any motion or dusk-to-dawn sensors, they can be connected to a smart switch for scheduling purposes. These standard hard-wire lights are lightweight, making them a breeze for one person to install, and they mount to a standard round electrical box. The inside of the reflector dish shares the same color as the rest of the light, which differs from some barn lights that have a white reflector to help spread light. The dish is somewhat shallow, so standard or larger size light bulbs may protrude out the bottom and cause unwanted glare. However, I found that using mini globe light bulbs solves this issue. Using bulbs with 2700K color temperature provides a warm and cozy outdoor ambiance that matches low voltage landscape lighting. As for durability, it is difficult to predict how these lights will fare in the long run. They don't feel as heavy-duty as other outdoor lights and seem more like indoor fixtures, but I will be installing them outside and updating this review if any issues arise over time. ... show more

Stylish but not heavy duty. One was bent somewhat, so I gently pressed it against a wall to straighten it out. Installing outdoors but might be best suited for indoor use.

These were a great replacement for our old dated porch lights. They went up SUPER easily and had all the parts necessary to do both in less than an hour. They look great! I'm glad we picked 10" because they aren't too big or small for where they are between the door and windows of our porch. Using these in a remodel of a mountain cabin, the picture shows the approximate location (will be raised in the final build. Easy to install, and came with a complete hardware set of screws and wire nuts. Not built for high abuse, but very nice in a decorative location.

These outside barn lights look really nice. They are well constructed and should hold up outdoors well. The inside of the reflectors is black. That will keep most light bulbs from being really glaring so I used these in a patio situation. They light the area well and look great! Installing them is easy as it comes with a base plate so you don't have to worry about mounting them to a junction box. Just screw the base plate into the wall over where the electrical wire is, connect the wires and you're done. The hardware for mounting them is strong enough to hold the light so you shouldn't have any problems with this falling or becoming detached from high winds. Once installed we used a 60 watt LED bulb and the light coming from them was just right. The look great on and really add to the ambiance of the area. Great looking light, easy to install and well built. You can't get much better than that! ... show more

I bought these to replace the two lights on either side of the front door. Ten inch diameter is about perfect, large without being too large.. Came two lights to the package. Very easy to assemble. A good value for the money.

A very nice fixture for your front door. The photocell means you can leave the switch on, it will cut itself off in the morning ! Add some perimeter security with these mounted around your house !
