So I bought these because my 6 year old autistic son is into destroying all my lamps thinking he’s gonna catch things on fire . So these are either screw into your wall or they have sticky patches (those worked great for me) make sure your wall is clean or they won’t stick and you will waste them, now it tells you to charge it with a USB-C charger and it doesn’t tell you how frequently (or else I would have NEVER) bought it . But since getting it .. the first day I actually loved it because everything was charged and I used the sticky patches so they worked great on my walls on top and the best part was my 6 year old couldn’t grab them ! And they also come with separate controllers (but 1 will work for ALL OF THEM) but the second day they completely died so I thought …hmmmm… maybe I have to charge them for like 4hrs so I charged them for 8hrs.. ALL OF THEM( I bought 8 in total ) and let me tell you . I just returned then to kohls yesterday because I have been so pissed off that they are broken and constantly have to charge . I have charged them a full day and they don’t last more than 4hrs .. and it gets me so mad because I actually loved them the first day .. so my best advice would be if you like to constantly charge or worry about your light breaking and the lens breaking, then buy it .. if you plan to use these for a bit the use them . But it’s NOT AND I REPEAT ITS NOT A LONG TERM OR SHORT TERM SOLUTION . Get better lights … I put 3 stars because I really did like the lights and the accessories it came with . But I would NEVER RECOMMEND THIS … so if your looking at the reviewes and see these comments. Understand that mine is neither rude or nice . It’s the truth . Thank you !!!(: Buy your lights in person because this one deceived me man !(:

They work great just don't forget to charge them because they will not work while being charged. Great fix for somewhere that you dont want to deal with wires hanging

When I got these lights I had 2 potential uses in mind. The first was to supplement my office lighting, since the overhead light in the center of the room doesn't illuminate my desk very well. When arranged properly, these lights do a pretty good job of brightening up my desk work area. The second potential use is for lighting inside our storm/tornado shelter. The shelter is basically a big steel box residing in our garage anchored down to the slab with some huge bolts. These lights would be ideal for this purpose, and should be bright enough to read for awhile, as long as the batteries last. I was hoping for some type of magnetic mount for the base of the base so the base would be removable and portable, but the adhesive disks are quite permanent according to the directions. The base of the base is 2-1/2" in diameter, so maybe I'll be able to find a magnet that size to make this possible. There are a few other things that a prospective buyer should know about: - The kit comes with two lights, two remote controls, two charging cables, two light stands, and two sets of mounting hardware (screws, anchors, and adhesive circles). - The lights take a LONG time to recharge on a standard 5V PC USB port. I didn't time it, but it is slow. - The remote controls will each control both lights. This means if both lights are in range, only one remote is needed to change light settings for both lamps. - The remote has far greater capability of settings than the touch-sensitive switch on the back of the light. Touching the switch on the light cycles through six settings (warm white, cool white, natural white, red, green, and blue) before turning the lights off. If you turn on the light with this switch, and then long-hold the switch, it will gradually dim the light at whatever setting it is at. The remote can turn on more colors by using the up and down arrows, adding yellow, purple, and a few more to the mix. It also enables direct control of 6 color settings and 3 light levels. - There is also a button on the remote for special effects where on the first press, the light automatically cycles through all of the colors. Press it again, and the light fades in and out while changing colors. The third press causes the light to blink on and off while changing colors. The fourth press make the light slowly fade in and out while changing colors. - The remote also has the ability to set the time until the light shuts off for a half-hour, one hour, 3 hours, and 6 hours. - The remote is battery powered by a common watch battery, CR2025. I was on the fence of whether to give a 4 star or 5 star rating for these lights due to a few quirks mentioned earlier, but the lights do pretty much what the listing claims, and the directions, while a bit short, are at least readable in English. If you just want white lights, they are available at lower cost. These look classier, have more features, and cost a bit more.

This is a set of two small lights with a black exterior. The lights come with screws and mounting tape if you want to affix them to a wall. If not, then they can stand alone on a tabletop or other flat surface. Each light comes with a remote control. The set-up is simple, just push the light into the magnetic base. The lights swivel, but do not rotate 360 degrees (per suggestion of the product description.) The lights charge with a USB port and will change from red (when charging) to green (once charged.) I ordered the lamps to use as reading lights, one for each bedside table. My overhead light is dim and I need extra illumination if I want to read at night. These lamps support that, and without the overhead on, I can simply use one of both of these lamps to see my book perfectly. Since they rotate, I can position them as needed depending on how I’m lying in bed. Each lamp has a myriad of colors if you wish to move away from the standard white light. The red is soft and gives an atmospheric glow to the space. I personally don’t care about colored lights, but my husband thinks they’re soothing. You can control the dimness and brightness by touching the back of the lamp or with the remote control. My mild criticism is that the lights do not turn off. Even by repeatedly hitting the off button on the remote, the best the lamp will do is dim to the dullest red. I can’t tell if it’s just a problem I’m having or if others are experiencing it. Based on other reviews, there isn’t a mention of this being an issue. Overall, I’m pleased to be able to see my book at night, and these are nifty - minus my inability to turn them 100% off.
