The starter on my 2002 Saturn L200 died at 178,000 miles. It was getting bad the past 2 weeks so I had time to order this replacement. Finally refused to start at Wal-Mart so I had to get a tow home. Was able to do the swap the next morning. The two bolts holding the starter on require a 15mm socket. With the new starter the car starts instantly. Costs 1/4 the price of what local auto parts stores wanted for it and works just as well. Might not last forever but definitely a good option for a beater car. Ordered on a Thursday morning and had it in my hands by Friday at noon.

Cheap alternative to a new one elsewhere. Saturn L200 fired right up and we are a month or two in and still working great. Two bolts and a couple of wires. Novice could do it in the parking lot with a few tools and a Jack.

Bought this for my 2002 Saturn Vue 2.2L. Came in a well packaged & padded box, no dents or dings. Was a perfect fit and worked on the first start. Took another user's advice and coated it with rustoleum before installing. Masked off the wire connectors and part that goes into the engine, then gave the rest a few coats. It gets it 4/5 stars since it wasn't already rust-proofed, but for the price it's still well worth it. With 235k miles on my vehicle though, I'm sure it'll last until the engine dies, rustproof or not. ... show more

It was very easy to install( as easy as it can be with a with those GM engines). It worked like a charm. It has been installed for a few months now but only time will tell about durability. Not having to deal with core charge was really nice as well

Product was fine it was as usual the shipping. If your going to say two day shipping the ensure that it is!!! So angry that USPS is used for shipping because since they have taken over to longer can I get the shipping guarantee. Poor Shipping Choice!!!!

Update: A year later and it still works great. Turns over very fast! Starter went out on the cavalier. Bought this, installed it, and it started right up. Hopefully it lasts a while. I’ll come back and update this if it craps out on me. Just a note, mine was all silver and not gold like the picture. It could be purple, though, for all I care. As long as it works. ... show more
