I got this for my makeup vanity because the lighting is terrible in my room. I was surprised by how bright this was and liked that it's portable for traveling, but the battery life is pretty pathetic. It dies after doing my makeup 3, maybe 4 times (it takes me 10-15 minutes to do my makeup). It's annoying to dismount and re-mount it every 3 days to recharge...also the charging cord is about an inch long? If the cord were longer, it might be less of a pain, as I could leave it mounted while charging. As it is, I ended up using my light therapy lamp as a makeup light and just keep this thing around for trips. ... show more

Took to the beach with me it was perfect for my makeup. Its always too complicated to carry makeup mirror so I took this and stuck it on mirror in my bedroom on the wall it was perfect for putting on makeup to go out! A great little investment

The vanity lighting in hotels and cruse ships has been terrible. I got this for my wife at Christmas and I think it was and is her favorite gift. Went on a cruise in late January she used it constantly because the vanity lighting was worthless. The battery life was good but was glad to see that the light worked while plugged into the charger. I absolutely love this light, It has 3 different brightness levels but I keep mine at the brightest as I use it for my makeup vanity area. I love that it is rechargeable so I don't have these wires from the LED lights. Also you can travel with it cause its sitting on a suction stand. It is awesome!
