This butcher block mini island is so beautiful. The size is perfect for my small kitchen. I love that it has wheels. I can place my cooking bowls on the bottom shelf. It's a very heavy and solid piece. Very pleased. Update. I removed the wheels and add bun feet. Still amazing.

Really good quality butcher block and solid base and kegs. No instructions came with it but easy to assemble. One of the leg’s had a bolt that was bent pretty bad bad managed to straighten it in my vise

Arrived fast and, considering the weight, shipping carton was in great condition. Easy to assemble and season/treat with butcher block mineral oil. We're not chefs, butchers, or cooks - from our novice point of view this is one solid and sturdy product. A small person could use it for shelter during an earthquake. We needed an island for food prep in our small kitchen so after mulling over all the choices we decided on a butcher block style one. Most were too big or narrow or out of our budget. But this one was comparatively inexpensive. Having an island this size on wheels makes it easy to walk around, rotated 360, or roll out of the way as needed. While you probably can't butcher something large it will work for pastry, pizza, or chopping up small game or vegetables. Which will save our countertops. Highly recommended. ... show more

I bought this item in May, 2025 and have used 2 bottles of the oil to condition it and it has only been 7 months and it has cracked all the way through. Doesn’t even have one knife mark because I have never even used it to chop on. Only bought for prep area cause I don’t have a lot of counter space. Always cleaned the way it’s suppose to be. I looked at a lot of different islands on line. This one seemed to fit my needs best. It was easy to put together, but it is very heavy and you need 2 people to pick it up once the legs and shelf are on. The quality is top notch! The top is beautiful! Remember this piece comes unfinished. I painted the bottom white. It is very important to oil the top every 6 months to prevent cracking with a food safe product. ... show more

I am so impressed with this butcher block rolling island! It is completely solid wood-the butcher block top is one solid piece and it was a snap to put the rest of it together. The caster wheels are heavy rubber & metal. You can’t beat the the price - I’ve searched all over and was a bit skeptical when I saw this just over $300 but the quality is outstanding.
