I looked at a lot of different islands on line. This one seemed to fit my needs best. It was easy to put together, but it is very heavy and you need 2 people to pick it up once the legs and shelf are on. The quality is top notch! The top is beautiful! Remember this piece comes unfinished. I painted the bottom white. It is very important to oil the top every 6 months to prevent cracking with a food safe product. ... show more

Very pleased. The construction is solid. The thing weighs a ton. It is everything that I thought it would be expected it to be for the price point versus a $2000 ones. And being a chef, I would buy this product again

love this! bought it for my husband and its made cooking in the kitchen so easy. Its very sturdy, but can also be easily pushed around the kitchen. Since its unfinished, make sure you oil the butcher block top to keep it in good condition
