As someone who works from home, and being in front of my computer screens, I needed some better lighting for my work area. My issue had been with my 2 larger monitors - they would block out light from the room. I saw this lamp and thought this would be perfect - which it is! It arrived nicely packaged and was very easy to install. There are just 2 fasteners. The clamp allows you to easily attach this to your desk, which I added mine directly behind my monitors. There is another screw, which allows you to move the height of the lamp up and down. As you can see in my pictures - it was easy to increase the height to above my monitors. Then the neck of the lamp is easy to move into whatever position you would like. It even allows you to slightly tilt the lamp back and forth - as I didn't want the light directly into my eyes - but to be angled down a bit. It adds a great amount of light - which there are 4 buttons on a small control pad on the cord. It allows you to turn it off and on, increase or decrease the light intensity, and then also change the light color to a yellowish or bluish color or back to the original light. I highly recommend this lamp, especially for a desk. You can add an adapter for a wall outlet - or it comes with the connection to plug into your computer for power.

The Good: This desk light is very effective for lighting a small desk area, the scope of coverage is approximately 36 inches (3- 3.5 ft) at it's peak brightness setting. The other warm and cool settings are very soft for watching a movie or casual viewing. This is bright and will be suitable for studying or working for long hours easing eye strain. The clamp is strong, doesn't damage surface as it is foam padded but be cautious with particle board or pressed wood finishings (don't overdo the clamp) The Okay: The goose-neck adjustment works fine, it could be more flexible but with a few tries you can bend it to your desired angle, this is not a negative but adding a articulator to the actual lamp would be a nice addition but it's okay. The "could be better" : This is not necessarily a bad comment but something the manufacturer should improve on in the next iteration of the model, the controls are too close to the lamp itself, creating a awkward stretch when trying to adjust the settings, I would rather place them on the lamp itself of more to the middle of the cable where it can be routed closer to the user rather than having me reach under my desk to adjust. The cable itself is thin, durability may come into play at the controls or usb end but with care it should last long. Overall: I like this lamp! Now I can read my notes and my text books without turning out the lighting in my living area or opening my blinds, I strongly recommend this for an addition to any work desk even in your kids play room once you have enough of a lip on your desk for the clamp to hold on to. Get this product for budget and great function.

My eyes aren't as sharp as they used to be, so I needed something to be able to read at my desk when I work from home. My desk also isn't that big, so it had to be discreet enough to hide behind my monitor with minimal cords. This light fits that bill PERFECTLY. It's certainly not extravagant, but that's ok because I don't buy desk lamps to impress anyone. It has three different light types (daylight, white and amber (?)) with multiple brightness settings. Super happy with this purchase!

While I do wish the light was just a little bit brighter, overall, this lamp is a great addition to my home office space. The neck is strong and sturdy, while flexible at the same time for preferred adjustment, and the height of the neck can also be adjusted by moving the part that is anchored to the desk up or down. This is easy to do, by simply turning a knob to loosen, then moving the height up or down, and then re-tightening. The light provided can be adjusted up or down with simple buttons, and the temperature also has 3 options: Warm, neutral, or cool light. I would like if the controls were actually on the base of the lamp rather than on the cord because it would be more convenient than searching for them every time. Overall, though I would make a few minor changes if I could, this light is great and has great value. I will be getting a lot of use out of it.

Finally a desk lamp that’s well made and truly flexible! 3 color temps & 10 brightness modes giving you plenty of options for your needs and it’s very easy to setup! It doesnt feel cheap or flimsy, and it’s really that nice that you can adjust the height. Unfortunately the way my monitor is mounted to the wall this lamp doesn’t reach to be positioned directly above the monitor, (which is what I originally intended) but that’s on me for not measuring. Overall great product!

I like to keep a light behind my monitor to get some indirect lighting on my desk to reduce eye strain at night. This light was really appealing for the clamp mount to free up a lot of desk space. Overall it really met my needs. I have a lot more usable desk space. The wide light strip provides a really nice soft and even light. The 3 light temperature settings are nice and the neutral setting doesn't seem too cool. It has some nice adjustability, the main shaft allows about 9 inches of vertical adjustment in the clamp. The goose neck portion is also pretty long and is really easy to move around and holds its position without much fuss. I think this is a great desk lamp, but not quite perfect. The brightness would probably be fine if you're using it like a normal lamp, but since I use this indirectly I would have liked a little more brightness. Also it would have been nice to see the controls placed a little further down on the cord - it isn't an issue at the higher height setting, but the lower you position the shaft in the clamp the further down the controls get to the point that it'll aways have to dangle off your desk since it can't reach up high enough. Definitely not deal breakers, but they are some quality of life issues to keep in mind. Overall it's a nice desk lamp that frees up a lot of space while giving a nice even light that's easy on the eyes.
