We've owned our fair share of lights like these - none were satisfactory enough to continue using. If you want a reliable, rechargeable light for your kitchen, pantry, cabinets or anywhere else in/around your home then look no further... Charging; These lights have built in batteries that charge via the included USB C cables. You supply the 5 volt wall adapter of your choice. Charging takes just over an hour using a 2.0 amp USB wall charger. The control wheel (see photo) illuminates red when charging, green when charged. Mounting; Each light has a fairly powerful magnet on it's backside. You may stick these on your refrigerator, file cabinet or simply use the included steel plate (with double sided tape) if mounting on a non-ferrous object (wood, plastic) An extra adhesive backed steel plate is included for versatility/flexibility of mounting location. Use; To power the light ON or OFF, simply hold the wheel/button down for about 3 seconds. The light will illuminate when you power it on. There are 3 modes to choose from according to your use (On, Day, Night) To change/toggle the mode, press on the wheel like a button. The LED in the wheel/button will illuminate red, blue or green to show which mode you have selected (see photo) To adjust the intensity of the light, just rotate the wheel to reach your desired light output. Since there is always some light in my kitchen, I chose the 'day' setting and selected maximum brightness. Function; These motion sensors actually work! Any movement within 3~5 feet will activate the light. The light fades on smoothly until it reaches the brightness you have set when you rotated the wheel. The light will stay on for 6~10 seconds after you leave the area - smoothly fading to zero output. I don't have to wave my hands in front of the sensors on these lights to keep them on while I worked in the area, as I did with the cheap/poorly designed lights I've previously used. These lights are the real deal! You can count on them performing consistently. Battery life; I've been using these for the past week under my kitchen cabinets and have not needed to recharge them. The light output is (visibly) the same as when they were freshly charged and installed. Conclusion; I highly recommend these lights to anyone who has ever tried and been disappointed by the cheap puck lights & strip lights that you can buy at the local 'Mart' We did indeed purchase another two sets of these great little lights to use all over our home. No longer do I have to put up with dangling power cords or removable rechargeable (AA - AAA - 18650 type) batteries. Everything is all together in one package! These work great in my dark closets. I wish the magnets were a bit stronger, as I have to be careful not to brush against them , but perhaps it’s because they are close to the front of the closet and near the edge. I can’t put them higher as they would be blocked by a shelf. Very bright and flip on quickly when they detect movement. ... show more

These are great. Instructions are easy to understand, charge quickly and work flawlessly. Originally purchased these for under cabinet lighting. And loved them so much we purchased another pack of three for inside closets. Going to buy two more packs to use on the stairs.

These are nice and bright and are motion activated. I use them in my closet that was built before lights were installed in closets. My only issue is one of them recently stopped turning on, but will still charge and indicate it is fully charged but will not turn on.

I was hesitant at first as i had a hard time figuring a couple of things out. Seems you have to hold the button down for a couple of seconds first to get it going. They work so well I bought 3 more of these to put all over. My only complaint is once you stick it on the wall there is no way it is coming off without ruining your paint job. I had heavy duty double sided adhesive tape and put that on the wall first, and then I put the permanent sticker to the adhesive tape. That way if I change my mind I can easily move it to somewhere else. Wroked like a charm! ... show more

I wasn't ready for a relationship with these lights so quickly, but I am in love! They do what they say they will and they do it well. The warm light from one of these works as well as if not better than the overlight lighting. The motion sensor is a huge perk, 10 seconds and it's off. High enough on the wall and a pet wandering in doesn't trigger. I have one in the bedroom closet, one in the laundry room, and a spare near my desk. I will say, the magnetic strip works okay but be mindful that you don't put it too close to the actual light switch to where you will brush up against it. The lights stay up on their own but if you cut it too close, they slide down. The portability of the lights is a great feature though. The adhesion to the wall will probably be the biggest issue and I imagine the paint will come right off once it is time to take that off but these will be in place for a while for me. The recharging station is handy and I put the (3) lights on once a week to charge and I'm good to go! ... show more

I bought a house last year and installed one of these light bars under each hanging cabinet. They are great. The motion detection works great, and I only have had problems with one of the lights falling off of the magnet regularly. There are extra magnets in the box, so I replaced the adhesive magnet and now none of them fall down. I do not use them "always on", so the battery life has been pretty good for me. I pull them all down about every two weeks and put them on the charger when I am at work. I don't know how often you would have to charge them if they were on all of the time. ... show more
