Cheerful, by Morticia Addams standards
ASIN: B0GYPHBZTT $13.99 Orange and Purple LED Halloween Lights, 33 ft 100 LED Mini String Lights 8 Lighting Modes Connectable Halloween Lights, Fall Lights, Thanksgiving, Halloween Decorations for Haunted House&Ghost Party Description: This 33-foot string contains 100 orange and purple LED mini lights with eight selectable lighting modes. The corded lights have end-to-end connectors that allow up to eight sets to be connected and are rated IP44 for resistance to rain and moisture. Review: These are wonderfully cheerful lights, assuming your definition of cheerful aligns reasonably well with Morticia Addams. Mine does, so these work for me. The orange and purple combination is unmistakably Halloweeny without needing pumpkins, ghosts, or anything else to explain that 30lb bag of candy you just bought. The LEDs are bright and colorful, and 100 lights across 33 feet gives you a substantial strand for decorating a room, porch, railing, or Halloween display. There are eight lighting modes ranging from steady illumination to various flashing, fading, and chasing effects, so you can choose your preferred degree of haunted-house exuberance. I like that the strands are connectable, which makes it possible to cover a much larger area without needing an outlet for every string. At $13.99, this is a reasonable price for a 33-foot, 100-light LED strand, particularly with the multiple modes and ability to connect additional sets. They're cheerful, festive, and thoroughly Halloweeny. Morticia might find them a little garish, but nobody's perfect.

Christmas lights --- but Halloween
These are exactly the kind of mini string lights that will feel familiar if you've ever decorated a Christmas tree. They're the classic incandescent style with that warm, nostalgic glow, just dressed up for Halloween. There was one thing that completely threw me at first. When I plugged them in, I thought, "Why are these all orange?" Then I realized the bulbs are two-toned. One side of each bulb is orange, and the other side is purple. Depending on how the strand twists and hangs, you can end up seeing mostly one color from certain angles. In some spots they looked almost entirely orange, while from another angle the purple became much more noticeable. So yes, they really are orange and purple...they just don't always look evenly mixed. Once I figured that out, I actually liked them a lot more. The lights have that classic Halloween look without being overly bright or flashy. They're perfect for outlining a porch, decorating a mantel, wrapping around railings, or adding a little spooky glow to a party setup. If you like the old-school look of traditional mini lights instead of LEDs, these deliver exactly that. The strand itself feels well made, and I appreciate that it's connectable if you're decorating a larger space. The included spare bulbs and fuses are also a nice touch, and it's always a bonus that one burned-out bulb won't take the entire strand with it. Overall, these are solid, classic Halloween lights with a fun orange-and-purple twist. Just don't panic like I did when they first light up. The color distribution depends on how the bulbs are facing, so they may look a little lopsided from certain angles, but once they're spread throughout your decorations, they create a festive, nostalgic Halloween glow.

Incandescent Lights for a Warm Amber Glow
Sometimes you just need a shorter strand of lights and this 10 footer fits the bill. For Christmas I decorate my open staircase with garland and lights, etc. I have a 2.5 foot railing with newel post on one side of my staircase. This 10 foot strand of lights is the perfect length to drape the short handrail and wrap the newel post. These are incandescent mini lights which give that “old school” warm amber glow. I have yet to find a warm white LED mini bulb that can compare. Some of the wiring on those LEDs are silvery and shiny which is quite conspicuous on your garland or tree. These lights have the green wiring so it blends in beautifully. Another feature I appreciate is these lights have an 18 inch lead from the plug to the first lightbulb. I have some with 24 inch leads which are great, but I also have some with 6 inch leads which are ridiculous. 18 inches is not bad. The bulbs are spaced 2.4 inches apart. I prefer spacing at about 4 inches but for where I’m using these, it won’t matter as much. This strand is also suitable for outdoor use. Yes, I could’ve bought a 20 foot length for a couple extra bucks, but then I would’ve had the problem of what to do with the extra 10 feet. Getting the exact length I needed was well worth a couple extra bucks. And for me, the 18 inch lead meant I didn’t have to purchase another extension cord which actually saved me money.

Simple plug-in operation
I really appreciate that these lights came in a plain brown cardboard box with black print only. The common slick and shiny multicolored boxes are usually coated with plastic, which makes them less desirable for recycling or disposal. I also appreciate that they are plug-in, not battery operated, and do not have a separate battery operated remote controller. You can choose among the 8 different modes by a simple press of a button on the line itself. I could do without the flashing mode. You can connect up to 8 of these 30 ft lines of 100 lights in a row. They can be used indoors or outdoors. The fairly dard green cord blends well with tree or shrub. The bulbs do not heat up. The string stores very compactly. For $10 this 30ft string of 100 lights is a good value and I can recommend it. Good quality for the money. I am thinking of buying more of the same.

Great lights for Halloween
I absolutely love these lights!!! The colors are nice and bright and there are 8 different settings on the lights, you can have them solid, flashing, slowly dimming, etc: Not only that but it also has a timer so you can set it to stay on 6 hrs and then it will automatically turn off for 18hrs and turn back on at the same time, if you use the timer setting. The say for indoor or outdoor use, I plan to use mine for our spooky bathroom. They’re a pretty decent length at 33ft. I absolutely love the look, it’ll be the perfect added touch! I can’t wait until I can start decorating for Halloween!! I would love to get more for above our kitchen cabinets. Definitely worth the price point and I can see these lasting for several years! I would definitely recommend.

Great Quality
These mini Christmas lights have a beautiful warm vintage glow that creates a cozy and festive atmosphere. The clear bulbs give off a classic look that works well for decorating trees, bedrooms, shelves, mantels, parties, or other spaces that need a little extra sparkle. The lights are easy to use and lightweight, making them simple to hang and arrange. The warm incandescent color is attractive and gives a more traditional holiday feel compared to brighter LED lights. The only downside is that the 10-foot length was shorter than I expected. It works well for smaller decorations, but it may not be long enough for larger areas or projects where you need more coverage. Overall, these lights are pretty, functional, and create a great ambiance. They would be perfect for smaller decorating projects!
