The lights are great, everything functions as described. Very bright and decent battery life between solar charging, haven't had either of them go completely dead from day 1.. Only thing that should know is that they are not water proof.. Each light cluster has 2 small square holes on the bottom of clear lens. I assume that's for venting the heat from lights.. I've had water and condensation get inside both os my lights.. They still work but with a lil discoloration on the lens.. ... show more

    • Good lights clunky install process

Bought these lights when they were on sale because it seemed like a good value. Overall happy with it - it's bright and sensor works fine. I initially tried operating with the remote without realizing there is a switch on the device that needs to be turned on. I don't really have any use for the remote. Installation was a bit more painful than some other models which just come with a bracket that you install first and then it just slips on. In this model there is a bracket for the light but no bracket for the solar panel. You have to uncrew the plate for the solar panel and then screw it back in after securing it which is a bit annoying because (a) there is a nut that pops off quite easily and is necessary to secure it back. If it falls down to the ground it's hard to find...and (b) the length of wire between the solar panel and the fixture is very short so it makes for a clunky install. Wish the wire was a bit longer. That said, I still liked the fact that I could reposition the solar panel at more angles to catch the most sun...many of the other lights that have the solar panel attached to the fixture just allow for less than 45 degrees of up and down tilt so they have to be facing the sun. I'm this case I was able to have the light on one side of the post with the panel on the other side facing the sun. ... show more

I live very rurally and at night if the moon is not shining and you have no lights, you literally can't see right in front of your face. I ordered these so that I did not have to leave my front porch light on all day. I had some trepidations after reading some of the reviews, but I shouldn't have. I put my first set up approximately 4 months ago and a second set up a couple weeks later. They were super simple to install and put out a fantastic amount of light. The motion sensor works just as it should. We have had plenty of rain and some snow since I put them up and I have not seen any problems with water harming them. You can literally put them up anywhere that has sunlight. I no longer am tripping over my own feet in the dark trying to reach my front door! ... show more

I purchased these lights as a part of a bit gift for my little sis. She has bought land in Arizona for her future Off the Grid homestead. So I’m starting to look at more products with solar options. I wanted to give here things that she could enjoy now and things she could use on her future house. She temporarily attached them to her RV to test them out( sorry she didn’t send me photos). She assured me they are bright as f&$! and they lit up the whole side of her Rig.
