It is a solid light that fits tightly on the wall. It looks like a flower when it's on, and the batteries are fresh. Mines been up for about 4 weeks and the batteries have slowly become weaker over that time. That's my only complaint. When the batteries are fresh it's so awesome, but they run out quickly, and it doesn't show up as well. We turn ours on at dark and use it til morning.

This light is really nice initially, but I bought it for my office and by week two, the batteries were already drained, and I definitely won’t be paying to replace 3 batteries twice a month. Don’t buy if you plan on using this for more than a few minutes a day.

This is a very pretty and unique decorative wall decor product. When lit, the light forms a floral design on the wall. It’s prettier in person than in the photos. The drawback for me is the need to use three AA batteries. In a day where it’s so easy to make things rechargeable, I don’t understand why they made this light use regular old disposable batteries. I deducted a star for that. Rechargeable is the way to go. Despite that, this is a nice, unique decorative light fixture.

I ordered this because there’s seemingly little to absolutely zero plug-in light features that can be hung on a wall - everything must be installed by an electrician unless there’s existing electrical wiring in the spot or near where you wish to install the fixture. In my years of living somewhere other than my parents’ house I have found zero apartments/condos/houses that already have electrical where I wish to install wall sconces, chandeliers, you name it! I will say I’m disappointed this takes three AA batteries in a world where seemingly everyone’s products are equipped with rechargeables and includes a charging cord (and sometimes the little box.) I will have to update this review upon finding out approximately how long these three AA batteries will last! As far as the design and aesthetic: wow! VERY meticulous! FAR BETTER than the photo and I though this wall lamp looked really cute in the listing’s photos. The outlines of the flower petals are perfect and it just looks so polished and clean; more mature than a little girl’s sunflower wall lamp! The lighting: it’s a pretty darn bright white light, but there’s it’s only illuminated from the outline of the flower and the outline of the gold circle in the middle of the flower. I also love the chain you pull to turn it on and off! It reminds me of my grandma and grandpa’s house: all of the lamps had the same chain to pull, and when we were kids we would rock, paper, scissors over who had to reach over and pull it OR we would argue over which of us children would have to get out of bed to pull the chain to turn off the light then run for his or her life in the dark to get back to bed haha! Ahhh memories. ANYWHO, this light is absolutely a great gift ! I think it’s so charming and that chain … man, I haven’t seen one on a lamp since I was last at my grandparents!
