  • Good Pressure Washer for Basic Cleaning purposes!!!
This is my first time buying a pressure washer to clean in and around my house. I have considered buying a brand name ones from Lowes/home depot. but decided to give this a try. The packaging is simple and the instructions are clear. Here is what i think pros and cons of this product, Pros: * Easy to assemble. Hooking up the water hose was bit difficult, but not impossible. * It took some time to get the pressure that i need. But once set, it worked flawlessly. * I used this washer to clean my cement patio. I would say it did a decent job and hoping to use it atleast once a year on my patio. * Bit Noisy, but we will get used to it. * Different nozzles for different purposes. I have not tried it on my siding or use it to wash my car. But I am planning to use this. * Easy to carry around or move. Cons: * The triggers are made of plastic and need some power to press those buttons to keep the water flow steady. * I did smell some burning plastic smell when the washer is running. But did not notice anything up normal in its function. * Very compact, but this is certainly not designed for heavy duty work. * I still have a question about its reliability and I think only time can judge. Overall a good pressure washer and it is working as advertised. I would recommend this for beginners to start this with. ... show more

  • Nice little unit for home use
While we have a high powered professional unit I really wanted something that was easy to get out and use as well as not take the paint off of whatever I am using it on. This seemed to be just the thing for that job. It is a small unit that has plenty of power for home use. It has various nozzles that allow you to concentrate the flow on whever you are using it on. The narrower the stream the higher the pressure. Operation is very simple as you connect the hose from the spicket to the bottom rear, plug in the cord and plug in the discharge hose. Select the nozzle and pull the trigger. Whatever you do, be sure not to point it at ANYTHING that can be damaged by the pressure. Trying it out I feel that the pressure is about what is needed for home use. The ad page lists at least 3 different pressures. This unit does not feel as it it meets any of those pressures. But rating one of these is generally the highest pressure reached, even if only for a moment. The flow rate is also lower than advertised. I found that about 1.1 gpm was closer to reality. Still more than enough to do the job. It is small, as I said earlier, and has an extendable carry handle like you find on a suitcase that has wheels on it. For its small size it feels stout enough. Rolls easily and has a number of places to store almost everything. The only item without a dedicate storage spot is the electrical cord. I just rolled it up and slipped it over the retracted handle. The various nozzles are top quality and work as they are designed to. The foam cannon is great and works flawlessly. The outlet on the handle lance end is standard and you can use almost any tip found on the better brands. All of my professional attachments fit the device. Comes with the washer, 4 nozzles, the foam cannon, hose, handle and attaching lance, a fairly long nozzle cleaning tool, instructions and the plastic brackets to hang items on. One needs to be screwed into place and the screws are included. Now while using the washer I did detect a small smell of electrical burning. It seemed to stop after using for a while but I will be watcing closely just in case. I have, too often, smelled this odor and it usually is not a good sign. But so far it has subsided and probably is nothing to worry about. If you are looking for a washer that you can use around the house for washing the car, or patio furniture or anything that does not require heavy work, this might be the answer. I found that it does not work well on oily driveway stains. If you spend exrtra time on that task it does do some work. I suggest a stiff broom, some washing powder and water. Scrub the area well, and then follow with the pressure washer. That generally works pretty well. Light oil stains are within this washer's abilities though. My only complaint would be the informtion on the ad page. It is all over the place with performance claims and they really need to focus on what it can really do. But, other than that, so far I am pleased and will be using it often. So will my wife as she has an extensive garden with equipment that will need cleaning. Hint: A pressure washer is actually fun to operate... ... show more

  • Adequate and useful for small projects but not for heavy duty cleaning
I would consider this an adequate pressure washer for my purpose. I'd give it a solid 3.5 stars... maybe closer to 4... I tested it out with only water first (no soap or cleaning solutions). I tested out every nozzle on the sidings and back patio. First, the machine is quite small, the telescoping handle is handy but it is too short, even for me at 5'3". The weight of this is similiar to a small carry on luggage... the wheels do not oscilate though... 😉 The noise level is quite loud, but only kicks on when the spray gun is being used... after a while, i got used to the noise. The cord length is quite long, but still limiting, the pressure hose connects easily but i had a tougher time removing it. My standard garden hose connects to the pressure washer with no problems, it just required some extra muscles to tighten and prevent leaks from the hose. There are 4 little spots to store the nozzles, which isnwell thought out, butbthere is not enough space to coil the pressure hose and the power cord. Using the 0 nozzle, it works great for tight corners and seams of the concrete and houses, but it's like using a round tip eraser to erase at-large surface area... it cleans thenline well, but notbwide range. Using the other nozzles with various degrees accomplishes a wider cleaning on larger surface areas, but not as clean... I find myself going over the same area several times to get rid if the doggy paw prints with red clay. But for not cleaning the patio for 2.5 years, the before and after is quite impressive. As for washing the sidings, I seem to have a bit more troubles. The green mossy build up came off easily, but there are black build ups along the seams that requires extra pressure, water and time to get them off. I seem to have better success cleaning along the white frame around the window. So this means that I'll have to go find special house washing solutions to tackle the tougher spots. Overall, I think the pressure washer did a great job on the concrete patio, performed adequately along the windows and patio doors, but failed to clean the sidings to my satisfaction. Frankly, this pressure washer did a good job on dirt and red clay stains that lingered and sat undisturbed for 2.5 years. However, it didn't give me the wow factor considering how long it took me to clean one spot and the amount of water used. Hopefully, I look forward to better results when I test out a cleaning solution with the sprayer, and potentially, it'll reduce the amount of time and water to clean the patio and the house. ... show more
