These worked fantastic, as I also have a set of curtains that I pull over these blinds to further aid in blackening the room. They were easy to install - just make sure you measurements are accurate before you select your size. I especially like that you can pull the blinds down to let in light during the day and still maintain privacy at the bottom. I felt like these had very good quality. Considering the cost of everything is skyrocketing these days, the value for money spent is worth it, I would say. I am happy with how the shades function, sliding both up and down. They appear to be made in a durable manner, when used according to their purpose. They do what they say. They are very easy to put up which is awesome. If you struggle or do t have tools then this is a no brainer. The cons is they are a bit flimsy, the sides start to sag a bit so will see what happens over time. You do feel like you have to be gentle with them or they might break. I got both blackout and light filtering and both do the job asked of them. For the price I paid they give me exactly what I needed. But if you have rough kids they might break them. Also I felt they came in a bit short on the width and I would order a half in larger if available. ... show more

These blinds were easier to install than I ever could have imagined. Installed in less than five minutes once I figured out how to get to the window. They are true blackout blinds. I might order these blinds for my other windows because I like them so much.
