Features

  • OPTICAL NAVIGATION TECHNOLOGY: Take the guess work out of yard work. Our robot mower uses sensors and a wide angle, high dynamic range camera to identify grass even under extreme contrast lighting situations to allow the robot to navigate around your lawn efficiently.
  • DESIGNED FOR SMALL LAWNS: Mow for up to 3 hours covering 2000 square feet while dropping small clippings on the lawn to feed the grass. For a larger yard, extra batteries can be purchased separately.
  • OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE: Two ultrasonic sensors detect obstacles and automatically re-direct the robot mower to avoid obstacles as small as 6-inches
  • NO GO FUNCTION: Use the included 33-feet of magnetic wires to create a virtual fence within your yard. Set up is easy with no power source or digging required and prevents the robot mower from entering any forbidden areas.
  • CLIMB UP TO 35%(19) SLOPE: Deep tread wheels and powerful drive system grips slopes to handle complex lawns
  • DROP AND MOW: There is no need for an outdoor power socket or app setup. Simply set the robot mower on an appropriately sized lawn, push the start button, and let it get to work.
  • FOR BEST RESULTS: A clearly defined edge around the full perimeter of your lawn is required to prevent the mower from leaving the grass. Adjustment of the lawn edges may be required. As with other robot mowers, a grass trimmer is needed to trim the lawn edges.
  • INCLUDE: Robot mower, 1 x MX 24V MAX* battery, 24V quick battery charger, 33 ft magnetic strip, and 12pcs magnetic strip pegs, extra 3pcs blades
  • *Note: Mowing up to 2000 sq ft requires additional charging. Battery must be fully recharged to resume operation

  • Does the job. Good for hilly lawns. Good battery life.
Style: Robot Mower
So here are my favorite features: 1. Great price in this category. 2. Effective at mowing. 3. Battery life is good; capable of doing at least the 1,000 sq ft that the mfr claims. 4. Super quiet. Least favorite features: 1. Mows with a Roomba-style random pattern. Goes til it finds and obstacle, then reorients itself (randomly?) and continues in another direction. 2. Could do better at obstacle detection. It has "run away" between shrubs and into woods that it should have stopped for. Also will nudge an obstacle and sometimes push its way through. Needs a solid obstacle in order to stay within the desired bounds. 3. Kind of slow, but that's not a big deal since it runs on its own. Would I recommend it? YES. Especially for a hilly or uneven lawn that other robo mowers (like my much more expensive Segway) can't climb. The LawnMaster has a LOT of torque on its drive wheels, and climbs over pretty much anything it needs to. Got stuck when it went off-lawn and once when a drain cover caused the wheels to ride up off the ground. Otherwise, it's a monster for getting around. Cutting is pretty good, but of course limited by the semi-random travel pattern. It's a random pattern of straight lines across your lawn. It would have been nice to have a battery that charges IN the mower, vs. taking battery out of the mower, putting it in a charger, then replacing it in the mower when it's charged. But that's not the biggest deal, and it's made up for by the darn good price. I'd give this machine a try. I'm using it alongside a Segway, which has lots of bells and whistles but can't climb the portion of my lawn where I need more power on the drive wheels to get up the hill. No auto programming, no auto return, no mapping of the lawn to make an efficient set of passes over the grass. But it's under $500, so not much reason to skip it. ... show more

  • Slow and picks up nothing
Style: Robot Mower
We have had robotic vacuums at home since 2003. First one was a Roomba and now we have two Shark robotic vacuums. One is 5 years old, the newer one is 1.5 years old. Both doing a very good job. It's true that picking up dirt is not the same as cutting grass, but we never expected such a poor performance from this LawnMaster. It is so slow that it's almost nerve racking. The worst part is it cuts practically nothing and leaves nasty streaks all over. It arrived yesterday and it's being returned today ... show more

  • Lawn care for the future
Style: Robot Mower
We love this mower! Easy to use. We use it in a smaller fenced area for our dog. Keeps the grass manageable while we work from home! It’s a win! The price was in our budget. We would definitely buy again.

  • Robotic Lawn Mower
Style: Robot Mower
The mower gets the job done, albeit at a slow pace. It's not the most efficient in terms of speed, but it eventually covers the entire yard. One downside is that it cuts in a seemingly random order, moving at its own pace rather than following a systematic path. This mower isn't suitable for heavy-duty tasks or dealing with high grass. It struggles with thicker patches, so you'll need to keep the lawn relatively short for it to be effective. Another limitation is that it doesn't handle edges or small areas well. You'll still need to manually trim around the edges, the mailbox, and other tight spots. On the positive side, it navigates around the yard quite well and can run for hours at a time, ensuring that most of the lawn gets mowed without much intervention. It's especially convenient for people with fenced-in yards, as it can operate within a confined area without escaping. However, the mower should come with more magnetic wires to help with boundary setting and navigation. This would enhance its usability and efficiency. Overall, it's a pretty cool gadget. While it has its limitations, it's a good option for maintaining a yard with minimal effort, provided you keep up with manual trimming and don't expect it to tackle heavy-duty mowing tasks. ... show more

  • Highly Recommend!!!
Style: Robot Mower
This robotic mower is impressive! I have a small yard (about 12’ x 15’ with a 3’ x 5’ pathway) and was very glad to see how well it cut the grass. It cuts slow and I mainly have it set to cut in random directions. The back wheels are large and have deep treads. It is very quiet ~ barely audible unless you are near it. It had no difficulty sensing edges. It is absolutely amazing! I am disabled and needed something to help maintain the yard. This LawnMaster OcuMow has far exceeded my expectations! The video I uploaded is with it cutting on the lowest setting. It is amazing how even it cuts the grass! It drops the grass behind it as it cuts ~ the cut grass does not fly around everywhere like a hand-held grass trimmer or push mower. The OcuMow is very sturdy and well-built. It has a carry handle. The shipping box included everything stated in the listing. The included directions are simple and easy to understand. The battery charges quickly and has an indicator level to show how much it is charged. It is simple to start. This is one of the best items I have ever bought on Amazon!!! Update after almost 2-years of use: First my yard is about 12' x 25' now that a pathway has been removed. My OcuMow is still going strong! I let it run for a few hours and when I return, the yard looks amazing. It runs slow (but not at a crawl) which is what's good about it - it runs at a pace where it can consistently trim grass. It's not a lawnmower with big blades - that's different and can run fast because it requires manual/physical operation. The OcuMow moves around in random patterns and when given enough time, it cuts the entire yard several times over on a single battery charge. There is also a setting to make it spin in a tight circle that increases outward to cover specific sections of grass. After almost 2 years, I haven't even had to change the blades (comes with replacements - blades look like razor blades). The device also has a big STOP button on the top so you can easily stop it from running & easily restart it. It also has a pin near the battery that can be pulled out so it completely shuts off and lifted. I like that it can be kept inside so no worry about theft from parking in an outdoor base like other types. I'd buy this thing again without hesitation and still highly recommend it. The main thing that I'd suggest and have to constantly remember is that the yard cannot be left to grow too high. So to use this mower effectively, consistent use is important or it can sense very tall grass as objects to avoid (but it has still cut some very high patches when left to run because it pushed the tall grass over and then cut it). It makes my yard look like magic because it's cut soo evenly. I'm disabled and have spent soo much money on hand held trimmers, electric/gas lawnmowers (traditional kind with large blades), etc. and this OcuMow is my favorite by far. Allow it time to run and maintain consistent use (for me about 2x's weekly) and my yard looks like it was mowed by skilled pros!!! ... show more

Stopped working properly while in warranty. Only drives in circles. Company does not respond to inquiries. Worked great while it worked. Don’t expect more than a year of use.

  • Disappointed: Great Concept, Poor Execution Disappointed: Great Concept, Poor Execution
Style: Robot Mower
I really wanted to like the LawnMaster OcuMow. The concept is excellent—no need for a base station or perimeter wires, which is perfect for lawns like mine that are broken up into multiple sections. The battery life is solid, and the portability of just placing it where you want to mow is exactly what I was looking for. Unfortunately, the execution just isn’t there. The biggest issue is the magnetic boundary system. They don’t give you nearly enough barrier strips to safely contain the mower, especially if your lawn has irregular shapes or multiple sections. I needed more to block off areas with inclines (where the mower flips over) and to stop it from wandering into my neighbor’s yard. If I bought all the magnetic tape I actually need, I could practically buy another mower—it’s that expensive. To make things worse, the magnetic barrier is considered temporary, so you have to re-lay it before every mow. That really defeats the point of having something that’s supposed to save time and effort. Performance-wise, the mower struggles with inclines and uneven terrain. Mine has flipped over more than once, damaging itself in the process. The front wheel is too light and tends to bounce, which causes uneven cutting and instability. In one instance, the mower actually left my yard, crossed the street, and ended up in my neighbor’s gutter—something the boundary camera should have prevented. This was after installing the latest software update from the manufacturer. Edge mowing is also a major disappointment. While I understand no robotic mower can get right up against every edge, this one consistently leaves about a foot of uncut grass along borders. That means a lot of extra weed eating—again, taking away from the convenience I was hoping for. If I could redesign this mower, I’d flip the orientation so the two powered wheels are in the front for better traction and control. That alone might help with the incline issues. Right now, between the prep time, supervision needed to keep it from getting into trouble, and the added cost to make it work properly, I’m seriously debating returning it and going with a more expensive model that simply works. ... show more

  • It works!
Style: Robot Mower
This is a simple mower. My yard is approximately 1200 sq ft and it is slow to cut it but it does do the job. It is silent, so it mows while I weed. 30 ft of magnetic strip is used up quickly, you might want more. So far I am very happy with it.
