I cant honestly say how good it is yet because i am a slightly disabled woman with a C3 to S1 spine injury that i will never fully recover from. So with that here we go. I did not receive an owners manual. But its common sense putting it together since you are just attaching the handle. Other common knowledge is charging the batteries to full before use. I am unsure of speed on charge because i put one on the charger one morning before work and then came home and charged the other. So the one thing i had problems with is getting the blade to engage. Mainly because as soon as you hold up the bottom lever (self propel) you push the start button. For me it wouldnt engage with both levers at same time. So when holding SP lever the wheels start turning but then you have to bring down the blade lever to the handle and press the start button again to engage. And for me the slowest level was fine but had to bump it up just slightly. The fast speed for me was WAY TOO FAST like watching a 90 yr old walking a bull mastiff if the mastiff wasn't trained to heal. But for norma person fastest speed might be perfect. As you can see by the pictures i posted, my grass was in dire need of a cut. I really liked the one handle to raise all wheels at once. Saves a persons back. I had it set for the highest level. I used the mulching and it really didnt leave a lot of grass mess so it did really well especially with the height of my grass. I did not mow that much because my back was in pain and legs were shaking, but i think i mowed for about 30 to 45 min (again i am very slow) and battery i guess was dying but not sure because i was pretty done (pain wise) by that time anyway. I put the battery back on the charger. Wiped down the mower and folded it up and placed it next to the two non working gas mowers and gas cans that im so glad i dont need to use anymore. I was happy i didnt have to wait for my mower to cool off before i could wipe down or deal with the fuel smell bring back into garage. Oh almost forgot… the handle adjustment for tall people. Its really nice. Although i am short, now my bf can possibly do this and since its self propelled he shouldnt die in the heat as quickly. And its okayish for me to do if absolutely need to. I did notice that the charger will blink green. Since i didnt get an owners manual i am assuming that the charger was hot. My battery said fully charged when i checked the little push button on battery so i unplugged the charger. I saw someone before in reviews wondering where you can purchase new batteries and i googled it and said lowes or tractor supply. Anyway im going to throw this tip out there as well just for the added common sense ALWAYS REMOVE BATTERY BEFORE FLIPPING OR GOING ANYWHERE NEAR THE BLADE you never know. But since i didnt get an owners manual im sure others wont either. But most people dont read them anyway. Want to add in there too, i did pay a service to mow my lawn since it had been two month since last mow. I didnt want to break my new mower on that bad of lawn LOL So upkeep will be easier. I will update on battery life and charge and performance once i actually mow the whole yard But i give it a four star for now just because of my lawn condition and my physical condition prevented a thorough use. Update: have had for almost a year now. My back has made some progress. Last year i would use almost four batteries to mow front OR back yeard because the slow was still too fast for me lol. But now i can mow each yard with 3 batteries. 1 1/2 per yard including front ditch. The mower works fantastic and sometimes it still gets too fast on the fastest but again 2 1/2 years after full spine injury and i can mow a lawn again! Yay! Sooooo much easier and lighter than a gas mower. If you have any major injury, this is the mower for you.

The more and more I use this mower, the more and more I don’t like it. The handle, at any setting just feels cumbersome. I feel it’s difficult to turn and difficult to line up for the next push. The deck on the mower itself clogs very easily causing clumps in my yard. I have a very dense and full lawn. Even at the highest deck setting, the grass still clumps up. I would love to cut it on level three if I could, but this mower can’t handle my lawn on the highest level as it is. The cut itself is subpar. The battery life is terrible. For 2500 square feet, I use up both batteries. And to be clear, I cut once to twice a week. I bought this mower back in January since I knew it would be in stock. Sadly it’s outside of the return time so I have to deal with it for the season. I will certainly be looking for another new mower next season. Save your money and skip. Edit: To be fair, when I wrote this review, on May 28, 2025, it did rain in the morning. However, 36 hours after the rain, today, May 29, 2025 I mowed my yard again. I cleaned the deck, I cleaned the bag, and I lowered the height of cut down 1 setting! This mower bogged and shut down on me about 600 square feet into mowing today. As you can see by the pictures, this mower can’t handle a lush yard! My yard is a new renovation and I was really excited thinking this mower could do the job. I was wrong! Hopefully I can go back to a Toro that lasted me over ten years without a single issue.

Edit: I had a faulty battery charger and after talking to customer service who are extremely helpful my issue was resolved. My battery now only takes around an hour to charge. 5 Star Service for customer support! The bad so far......One Battery takes half a day to charge so plan ahead. Mower cuts good, self Propelled is great on really flat surface. It's heavier than my old snapper 82v but it also wasn't self Propelled so maybe that's the difference. So far for the the money its decent, the Briggs and Stratton replacement battery for my Snapper is half the cost of this mower and I would need 2 batteries so might as well try this out. Bagging the grass is kinda impressive with how it fills the bag compared to my old mower. This cuts my centipede and Zoyzia grass pretty well and even seems to have a over drive feature where it kicks it up a notch when it gets into a thicker patch of grass so it doesn't bog down

When I got my mower the blade didn't turn. Probably a freak glitch. I called them and they immediately sent me a new machine. Customer service was speedy and polite no questions asked, just enough to verify what was going on with the machine.

Reviewing WILD BADGER POWER Lawn Mower Self Propelled 40V Brushless, This is a nice mower that has great features. The power it provides is great for my medium-sized yard. I have a gradual slope that is not steep and the self-propel option works great, even going up the slope. It has a 21” deck which is a good size, requiring less passes than a 14 or 16” deck and since it’s brushless and battery powered. It’s also much quieter than a traditional mower. The height adjustment goes from just over 1” to over 3”, so there’s a nice variable. You can bag the grass (it has a nice sized bag, not small), or you can mulch from the side or rear. The handlebar height is adjustable also so you can pick the height that is most comfortable. The battery life is average. I wouldn’t say it’s awesome, but it includes two batteries, and with two, you should be able to complete your average sized, suburban yard. One charge on one battery lasts about 30 minutes for my yard .It’s around 50 lbs, so heavy for a nearly all plastic mower, but with the self-propel option, you don’t notice it. The wheels are not the best, so, unfortunately, without self-propel, it can be awkward to get it around tight spaces, but I just use the self-propel option and rely on proper steering to get around tight spaces and it works well. All-in-all, this is a nice mower for a battery powered one and it has more than enough power for a typical suburban (or urban) yard. I think it’s on the pricier side for the features, so I’m rating it 4 stars. If I were able, I would rate it 4.5 stars.
