I love these cameras, I have 12 of them around my property. Military vet, and I LOVE my property locked down tight. These cameras have not let me down. I have no issues with the night vision, and it is comparable to others on the market (with more expensive cameras being 5% better with IR, and 130% more expensive). If you need more Infrared coverage, they sell IR spotlights that will fix your problem way cheaper than buying a more expensive camera. The app and settings have their own small issues, but nothing compared to the numerous others I have run through, whose issues were not tolerable. There are not a ton of instructions, but if you do what the app says, and listen for the sound cues, you will be alright. I think the biggest gripe is that if you need customer support for the products you buy, you are more likely to get a credible Vice article than get help from their customer support team. Tried for literally months to get help with their cloud service, and get a couple of simple questions answered. Literally no response 6 months later. My research on their site said they had a separate app for it, but that article is OLD. Their sign up says its directly in the app, but I never saw anything more than what my memory cards were holding, still trying to work that out. Overall, a great buy. The cameras will not disappoint, but their customer service will. The cameras are fantastic, and they have not let me down. Pros: Good Value Easy Install/Setup Great Range Good Picture Quality App is relatively easy to get used to Long wires for Installation Offline notification (if camera becomes disconnected from power you will be notified) Cons: Bad customer support for products Ambiguous at best cloud capabilities Nearly Impossible integration to programs that will auto-save your recordings Small but manageable quirks to each recording setting ... show more

I purchased these to replace some other cameras with on-board memory capabilities and found these easy to connect and with a very good picture. My only wish is they had better motion area editing. Their exclusion method is dragging handles on the 4 separate sides which still leaves a square or rectangle. I have an area that I want to exclude from one corner of the frame but can't do that with this style of exclusion editing. Otherwise I am quite pleased with the performance and ease of use. I like the record on MicroSD chip (chips not included, but there's no monthly subscription needed) Good HD image quality, 3 night settings, wired power and easy set up of the 4 cam system. It does the job and by trial and error i've learned the software. For the money, it's a good system that works on my iPhone with the LaView app. Camera does rotate and tilts on the provided mount, but does not pan left and right, so you have to be "creative" when placing the cameras. See photos. For $120 for 4 cameras, this is a bargain and big improvement over my older Bli** system. I've owned LaView Cameras for over 10 years and thaey have always been well built and decently supported with App Updates, etc. These cameras are great! Love the addition of color night vision! It works great. The one downside of this new design is the mounting hardware is now made mostly of plastic and is easily removed and is not as strong as previous designs. It is still a great camera! The picture quality is VERY good, even at night! This camera does NOT have a human motion detection filter that other LaView Camera have. Overall very good camera, but hopefully LaView will continue with Firmware updates to add the missing features. ... show more

Got the 4 pack and installed a 128gb micro SD card in each one. Very easy to control using the app. I have all 4 cameras hooked up to the app. The sound and motion detection settings are pretty sensitive even on the lowest sensitivity, but you can set your surveillance area for each camera. Very clear and easy to see at night. Motion detection light is a nice feature and precludes me from have to install an actual motion detection light. A nice 2 in 1 feature there. They go out from time to time and occasionally have problems with wifi. One just stopped working one day and didnt start back (early on). You have to invest more to be able to rewind/record. Otherwise it does fine.
