Your lucky to get a week out of it before it starts peeling up. If your trying to avoid costs of a salon this is nice quality but it doesn’t last as long. I feel like I’ve been redoing my nails weekly, which I don’t want to do because I don’t want to use uv light that often. My nails are harder with this, but the coating isn’t as strong as what salons use, my nails get thin and flimsy after being in hot water, they chip easier when I’m doing things around the house. This is a great set if you are beginning and just start out and don’t to spend a ton of money It has everything you need, except the drying machine obviously but… The bottles are all very small and you will run out fast if you use the same color too many times or use too many coats. Also, I used 1 coat base coat, 2 coats color and 1 coat top coat. I dried in the machine between each coat but I found that it took 2 or 3 cycles in the dryer to dry each coat. This is my first time buying or using gel polish, so I don't have anything to compare it to. That being said, I am happy with my decision (making them does not come easy to me, especially concerning what i spend my money on). I was specifically looking for something that came with a fair amount of options for a price i could afford. Most similar sets either are good price with not enough variety, or all the variety at over double the price. There are so many different combinations of options it's overwhelming, but this one pretty much had it all.. Even a matte top coat. Some of the colors on the bottle look different from the colors in them, but they do seem to be a better match once the polish is on and dry. A lot of them are light colors but the polishes are very easy to mix and make your own shades and colors if you feel like you're missing something (including nude shades). They also mixed well with the hard gel i bought to overlay my natural nails with. Very easy to work with and cures well. Black and white take slightly longer but that seems to be the case for those colors in any brand. I didn't experience any heat spikes so far with anything but the matte top coat, but it's very mild (and fun to watch it cure lol). The colors are very opaque as well, so even with very thin coats you only need two. The two nail pictures i posted are the two times I've used these so far, i kept the black and white set for two weeks and they never chipped at all. By the time i changed them to the purple set they still looked freshly done. All in all, I'm very happy with my purchase. The next time I'm looking to buy more color variety, this brand will be the first one i check out. ... show more

Color: Classic Plain Color
This a good kit to get started with gel polish. Just be sure to give it a few tries since it may take a bit of work to get it right. With a bit of effort, even if you're not the best at polishing your nails you can get a nice mani with this kit. I'm not the best at painting my nails to begin with but after some clean up work, I can usually manage a passable manicure. I wanted to try gel to get something more long-lasting. The first time I used this, I prepped my nail with regular nail polish remover (which has some oils to keep from drying out your nail) instead of acetone and I applied too much of the top coat and flooded my cuticles. The resulting manicure was too thick and started to lift after a few days. The second time I tried a manicure, I over corrected and applied everything a bit too thin. I ended up with a slightly streaky manicure that once again lifted in a few days. The third application was the charm! I was able to get a more even manicure that lasted for about two weeks (I had a tiny chip after about 10 days but I was opening a can of soda). I have since experimented with glitter and I am consistently getting 10-14 days wear. Removal is still tough for me though. I try to wait until the gel is starting to lift before I attempt to remove them but I still have to soak them for a long time. I recently tried the Pulchrie Magic Nail Polish Remover with moderate success. It still took a few applications and a lot of picking to get the polish off. Tips for novices: -Buff your nail lightly before applying -Use acetone (not nail polish remover) to prep your nail before applying the base coat -Have a brush or an orange stick ready for clean up. Clean up all product that has pooled around your nails or is on your skin *before* you cure under a lamp. -2 or 3 thin coats is better than a 1 or two thick coats -If you end up with an uneven application or get a hair in your top coat, you can lightly file the cured top coat to even things out an then apply a *thin* top coat to restore shine. ... show more

Product comes in a large blue box has a variety of colors. There’s three rows each for a different type of product. The top row is your basecoat and your two top coats. The base coat is in a silver bottle. Your matte topcoat is in a black bottle and your shine or stereotypical topcoat is in a gold bottle in total there is 19 colors and 22 bottles your second row has all of your pure colors, so no sparkles and glitter and the third row has all the glitters product is easy to use.
