Preparation: Trim, file and buff nails for a clean and dry surface. Before opening the bottle, roll the bottle between your hands back and forth to gently mix. 2. Base Coat: Apply thin base coat, cure under LED lamp for 60-90 seconds. 3. Gel polish: Apply first thin layer of color gel polish and cure under LED lamp for 90-120 seconds. Apply the second or third layer color gel polish. When applying color, wipe excess gel with brush before applying strokes. 4. Top Coat: Finish off with a layer of top coat, cure under LED lamp for 90-120 seconds. Applying every thin coat is the key Tips to avoid chipping: 1. Before applying, please ensure your nails are completely dry, clean and oil-free. 2. Don't apply gel on the skin or cuticle. 3. Apply gel to the edge of each nail to seal the gel with the brush horizontally to avoid chipping. Removal Process: 1. Lightly buff off the shine from the top of nails using a nail buffer. 2. Soak for a minimum of 15 minutes. 5. Remove cotton and foils one at a time and gently push off gel using a removal wand. Gel should come off easily without much effort. If necessary, re-saturate cotton and rewrap finger and soak for 5 more minutes. 6. Lightly buff nails again once all gel is removed.

This color is out of my comfort zone but this is pretty and was so easy to apply. I bought the All-in-1 mani kit plus this polish set and baby, my nail salon will not see me EVER again. The smell is not strong and the quality is salon quality or better. I just applied it tonight, not sure how long it will last but I’ll update for the ones that care. UPDATE: Tried a different color (Purple) and it is going on week two with no chipping. Applying gel requires a little bit of skill in order for your gel to last. Same as when going to a nail shop, prepping you nails are the foundation to a good lasting gel manicure. The girlies who wrote the negatives about it not air drying clearly did not read or has a serious lack of comprehension, no shade but shade. I'm a beginner so I'm not sure if its something I'm doing wrong but this chips pretty easily. I use thin coats and I think I cure well after each coat. They are very good polishes. I work with my hands a lot so my nails break easily. I find that using gel polish protects them a bit from chipping my nails. These are really cute polishes. They are a little sheer, but that allows you to build up the color. It lasts about a week on my nails, but it’s because I work with my hands a lot, otherwise I’d say it’ll last a little bit longer ... show more

I’ve used Beetles brand polish many times and they always produce highly pigmented, rich polish that never takes more than 2 coats. This set is no exception. You really can’t beat the quality for the price. These are thicker than my glitter set, and my set of reds, but I like a thicker gel polish so that’s ok with me. My issue is that I ordered this set specifically for the pretty blue/green shade that almost looks like Tiffany Blue and much to my dismay it’s the one color that’s really not the same as the product photos, it’s literally baby blue. The shimmer is very gold, so much so it almost gives the polish a color shift appearance that I don’t like at all. I’m not a gold girlie. The stickers are bigger than I’d expected, they are shown with a size 0 tip for reference, I probably won’t even use them. colors are so so so cute! i get tons of compliments at work, and customers are always surprised when i tell them i painted them myself! the set comes with 6 different colors. i used all but the pink in my pictures. the pink looks quite a bit more saturated than the other colors, so i prefer to use the peachy color instead. i have also used this set a couple times before the manicure in my pictures. one thing i noticed is that when you cure the color gel, it does not leave a residue at all. however, i still applied a top coat. just something interesting to point out! after nail prep and applying a base coat, i try to keep my color gel layers as thin as possible. for the purple, blue, and green colors, two layers were sufficient. however, for the yellow and peach colors, i did three layers. all the colors applied smoothly! the gel feels a bit on the thicker side when applying, though. i have had and used these for a few months now and they've held up very well! colors in the bottle have not separated, and they haven't gotten clumpy or anything like that. the colors look a bit less vibrant in person than they do on the listing, which is okay with me. the bottles are also a tiny bit smaller than your average gel bottle. for the price, these are really nice color gels! i might buy again just because of how cute these colors are. ... show more

I’ve bought this nail polish multiple times in different color sets. Sometimes they are great and the colors are gorgeous, other times they don’t match at all. This spring set is gorgeous BUT the Christmas set I bought wasn’t a match. I keep finding myself purchasing this nail polish and realizing that it’s just not for me. It goes on really thick which causes it to peel right off my nails. If I put it on thin it still chips within 3 days of application. I work a desk job so there is no instense wear that could cause this to chip so easily. The packaging is great and the price is fair, I just wish the product was better. ... show more

I do my nails with ALL Beetles products and it is hands-down the best! I have this set in multiple colors / themes and all the colors are so vibrant and beautiful. They are chip-resistant with the base / top coat combo (also from Beetles). The gel is super forgiving and beginner-friendly.
