I did have to redo a couple of nails until I got the hang of it but I’m obsessed with this kit! I have many more poly gel options to continue to do my nails for just 20 dollars! I have enough to probably last me 6+ months. One week later my nails are still intact and looking great. Definitely follow instructions for optimal strength. I did buy a nail dremel on Amazon as well to help shape and take any excess cured polygel. I will say I do wish that the UV light was bigger. Only complaint. ... show more

The back of the box are the only instructions so I was a little unsure. I did my pinky first and once I figured out how the product works it was easy. It will take me a few times to get used to the amount of product needed for each nail. I don’t think I did too bad for my first attempt at learning a new product. There are no instructions on how to remove the gel if you make a mistake or want to redo them. ... show more

Yes! I love this! I used poly gel at a salon and thought "this looks easy enough." Bought this kit and I am extremely happy with the results. It takes at least 3 nails before getting the rhythm down of how much to use ect. But worth the trying for sure!

So overall this kit was ok.. but I would only recommend buying the Polygel itself and using alcohol as slip solution and another brands base and top coat. Slip solution was not slippery at all it was very sticky and glue like. But the polygel worked beautifully alone

I absolutely love this product! much better than acrylic and doesn’t damage your nails nearly as much. easy to use and very durable. i don’t even worry about breaking a nail. highly recommended to teenagers and people with a mildly active lifestyle.

I am a habitual nail biter, so I have extremely brittle and soft nails that ar easily broken. I bought this product in the hopes it would prevent me from biting my nails while letting them grow. The kit comes with everything needed, even things that I didn't use lie that toe seperators, but they are nice to have. It takes some getting used to to maipulate the polygel, figuring out how much product to use and how to correct mistakes will come with time but my first application wasn't a total disaster. I wil ladmit that the polygel is STRONG. I am a horseback rider and go to the barn 4-5x times a week. They did not break, they did not chip and they did not move. Extremely sturdy product. When I used to get acrylic nail extensions they would break within a day of going to the barn, but the polygel stayed put no isses. The one downside for myself personally is that the forms are too curved width wise. they don't lay flat on my nails when I try any of them on in any size because my nails are more flat than round width wise. Because of this I found it difficult to keep the mold in place while trying to fix the underside and curing them. I had to press a lot harder than your supposed to also because the mold would just lift off my nail no matter what I did. I will be purchasing other types of nail forms that better suit my nails. but agian, this is a personal issue as no one's nails are the same.
