Loved this! It lasted 7 years before the plastic surrounding the hinge broke. Likely this was because we used it for more than meat - including over boiling pots of maple syrup. Very hardy. Highly recommend.

Well made, sturdy. This probe is very well made with a great hinge. Bought to replace a cheaper one that didn’t keep the tip locked in well enough, so it was always getting stuck on stuff and flopping out at the worst times. Don’t be fooled by cheap imitations.
