Great functionality for the price with a ton of vehicle coverage. I've primarily used it on US brand cars and have been very impressed with it. So far all the PIDs seem to be accurate and the special functions and bidirectional control all seem to work. Item arrived fast and with everything nicely packaged and scan tool itself was at a 88% charge which is more then enough to get it set up an ready to use. The battery seems to have an long life depending on screen brightness and the charger supplied seems to charge slowly which in my opinion is great to preserve the overall life span of the battery. You will need an SD card as it comes with the internal memory pretty much maxed out and with constant patchwork updates you'll run out of room really fast and it will bog it down something bad. It seems to take a bit long to establish Comms with Chrysler products and to conduct a full system scan. Overall for the price I paid ($700 at the time) it's a great fast return on investment if you do a lot of diagnostics and actually know how to interpret and use the information the scan tool provides. I still manually verify all sensors with a labscopes regardless what brand the scanner is. Like all other scan tools there will always be some software issues such as glitches and false values displayed that can even happen with a $10,000 tool as well but so far so good on this one. Over all great buy and I would recommend it to anyone on a budget but needs a scan tool above entry level.

This works well for every car I've tried it on. I had been using a Mac Tools Scout from another shop, the owner wanted me to use it then teach him how to use it. This unit does almost everything that the Scout does with the addition of the expanded European coverage (I service and modify a lot of Audi cars). The user interface is not as good as the Scout but the savings is well worth the learning curve. I use this as my shop media player, my go to internet browser, I added my Google calendar so I can schedule jobs while I'm working, and my email is on it. I 3d printed a steering wheel hook like the Scout has and it doubles as a nice stand to prop it up at a better angle for workbench viewing. I then modified the case to allow for a larger USB connected so my USB camera would fit. I can't speak to the claims that it's counterfeit. It came with all the serial numbers and packaging as well as a bunch of extra connectors (that I will never use).

this thing sucks . its features are great, but if you dont connect to the enternet with in a time frame it locks you out. the customer support really sucks. the web site is all asian. cant get through it to get help it doesnt translate well at all. it is very expensive and if you dont use it on the internet all the time it is useless

I have started a business with this as my first scanner. It has served me well through tons of repairs. I haven’t found too many weak spots as of yet. I have owned it for almost a year and am extremely satisfied! YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH THIS SCANNER! Kingbolen has even given me pretty good customer support. It is through email but they respond quickly! I have a couple videos using my Launch scanner. Check out my YouTube channel Automotivated to see it in action. I have a video on a 2015 Chevy Silverado fuel pressure sensor code. I have found this tool more capable than $10,000 snap on scanners. It’s hard to believe I know, but it’s true. First its is advertised to come with a tpms tool , this is FALSE it only comes with a promise of one , i personally think it's BS but we'll see if they deliver, Tool is pretty good but you need to be a more advanced tech to appreciate its functions , I am bothered by the fact that it doesn't specify much about the tpms tool , I just don't like being lied to i guess. So the free gifts did arrive as promised . This tool is pretty impressive , it can be a little slow with some Nissan and very fast with most Euro cars , i think its more of the car being tested rather than the tool itself , battery life is surprisingly good just boot it in the morning and depending on how much I use it its still plenty of charge for a couple of days really .

All around a great tool for diagnostics, easy to use and covers a great of variety of manufactures. I would recommend this to any mechanic or service station for diagnostics. Recently purchased the TPMS tool and camera to go with it, the TPMS tool is a great addition for the Launch tool , works great.
