The easy of use and setup was great, but fell short on the features and capability. Only a third of the features work. Tech support and customer service also fell short to deliver any real solution on the problems. I send them screen shot and screen recording only to be told contact my sales rep.

look up my youtube for full review im under Alvaro Nino, so first let me start, connecting and setting up is easy, what i found was if its to good to be true then ... well you know the rest, for starters i tried about 4 cars, not much luck with the bi directional functions, I have tried other scan tools per say the a30m and that had way more functions that are accessible, like turning on light, blasting the horn, actuating a vgt, turning on fuel pumps and many more options, this tool was super limited. most of the options did not function as they should, i think this global model is more for the Europe and asians cars, it didn't work out the way i expected, 50 functions were more like 6 for an impala, a transit van and an e350..... i dont wanna sit here and say its worthless because it is not, but for $1800 et an autel or a D9pro, wouldn't and could not justify keeping, pretty disappointed. did inquire on doing a review on line guess this is why they said no. Oh and I sent it back never got paid for shipping it back ... show more

I use this x431 pro5 scan tool to have software modifications to a vehicle,making the functions not available in the car when it left the factory for different reasons to be available,such as activate the“needle sweep”function when the ignition is on (for some volkswagen AG models),make the automatic door locking at a particular speed, set up the U.S.-style daytime running lights, activate the auto-hold function. and others.The balance test is quite useful,I use that test almost weekly for customers to diagnose skips and misfires Overall this launch scanner Iis very capable of doing everything I would ever need to do. ... show more
