It absolutely does not let me down. Pros: Ridiculously fast: Boot-up, scanning, and data refresh are all quick and smooth. Excellent build quality: Feels solid in your hands and holds up to shop use. Insane battery life: Easily lasts all day in the shop without reaching for the charger. IMMO capability: It does have add-ons for immobilizer functions if that’s something you’re interested in. DOIP support: Once I got the DOIP cable, it handled JLR (Jaguar/Land Rover) beautifully. My Autel Elite (which I still like) was starting to struggle with DOIP connections, but the Launch handled it without a hiccup. Cons: No kickstand: It would be nice if it had one for easier viewing on the bench. No DOIP cable included: You’ll have to order that separately (about $60). Setup was painless through AutoAuth. I’ve been using this thing almost every day for three weeks, and it’s been rock-solid. For the money, it punches way above its weight, just like most Launch tools do. Bottom line — if you’re a professional tech or even a serious DIYer, this tool is worth every cent.

I've been using the LAUNCH CRP919XBT for a few weeks now, and I am impressed by its performance. It does everything you could possibly need - reads and clears codes, shows live data, bidirectional control, ECU coding and has alot of reset functions. I used ito make the auto start-stop disabled on a 2006 Toyota. it worked perect. Another car's radiator fan wasn’t kicking on, and I couldn’t tell if it was the fan motor itself Or a bad relay.l used the tool and went into the menu, found the test, and activated the fan directly. It started spinning immediately! It was so simple and saved a ton of money. The Bluetooth connection is fast and stable, which makes work much easier without the need for cables. Incredible value for a professonal-grade tool.

The scanner comes nicely packaged. It is easy to update and start. I used it to find an emissions trouble code on a BMW X5. The scanner has dozens of features that I have not yet tried. I like that two years of updates are included. Good value. I would buy it again.

I purchased this scanner primarily to bleed out the ABS system on a Chevy Silverado. I was impressed by the number of service functions and tests available. It worked well for that task. Next, I decided to clear codes and mess with settings on a late model Toyota 4Runner. It allowed me to turn off belt chimes which drive me crazy when I check my mail and drive up my long driveway without buckling up. Functioned perfectly. The one task needed on the 4Runner was to change tire size when the lift was removed and stock sized tires were put on. It was not able to perform that task.

It does everything I want as a diagnostic tool. This is much better than those stand along obd2 bluetooth connectors.

Update: The store we purchased from is no longer selling this scanner so the company itself (directly from China) contacted us asking to remedy the situation. We agreed but then they stopped responding. So now we have a pretty worthless scanner with no customer support. Not at all pleased with Launch or their products. It says it will open SGW but it does not. You have to log in to autoauth to register but this scanner is not even on their list so you can’t use this scanner to bypass the SGW for certain vehicles 2018 and up. Cannot clear codes either. Works fine to read codes and for other applications.
