This thing is heavy duty, and should handle everything you need. The two years of updates is nice, but really unnecessary for what I need it for. Honestly, the hand held scanners do well enough for me, so this is definitely overkill. Setup is easy, its like your typical android OS, so it should be easy to use and quick to get going. Price is a little on the high side, but if you have a shop, I could definitely see this being great to have. I'm not even using it to half of its ability, maybe 25% at most.

This tool covers a wide variety of tests, and it is super easy to use. Once plugged into my car's OBD2 port, I can access all the data. It is quite pricey, but being able to diagnose my car's problem at home will save me so much time and money from the local mechanic. It is bidirectional, so you can do inputs on your vehicle, and it will display that data in real time. The tablet is very hefty and durable. It is kind of built like those armored up tablets for kids. I keep this in my garage because it can run tests on all my cars. It is super flexible.

This scanner explores every system in your car, includes its exterior control modules, ABS, SRS, TPMS, engine, transmission, and much more. It retrieves error codes in addition to comprehensive clarifications, allowing it possible to pinpoint problems precisely. When it identified a sporadic ABS sensor problem in my older sedan that generic scanners had overlooked, I was quite pleased. It was simple to set up, updated everything, linked to a variety of cars fast, read codes, and performed the tests I required. Time will tell how long it lasts and whether it fulfills its claims.

I like that these are getting more affordable, obviously I've not used it for all the brands, but so far the cars on my dealership lot I've used it on works well. Setup was easy, then it updated everything, it connected to various cars quickly, read the codes and did the diagnostics I needed it to. Only time will tell how long it lasts, or if it does everything it says it does, but the price so far is on point, especially when similar units sell for 10x the price.
