I work in a professional setting as a tech and this thing works great considering how affordable it is. Hook it up to your shop's WiFi for best performance. This isn't the fastest tool but if you are familiar with going deep into data on scanners, this will work in a lot of troubleshooting scenarios. Beats dropping $4k on the tooltruck.

Doesn't do a couple things I hoped it would, but works great otherwise and covers all the functions I really need for diagnostics. Using on a 2007 ram 2500 diesel to diagnose injector and piston issue. Helps narrow down where issues might be, but can't tell you exactly what might be wrong. Reads codes fine, and live data is a plus.

I like how it is user friendly. I wish it was Bluetooth instead of being corded, but for the price it's a great tool!!! I've used it on many makes and models, no issue using the auto vin detect on any of them. The service functions are easy to get to and everything is laid out nice!! Definitely recommend!!!

Apparently launch has sold the right to use their name to some company overseas who's mostly got it covered but, suffice to say, is still ironing out the specifics. I recently bought an hhr ss. The power steering was working but I felt an anomaly while driving and hooked it up to look around in the pscm for a hint or some assurance it wasn't going to go all "Christine" on me at 85mph. Went to pscm, special features, clicked on calibration and was locked in with no way to cancel the operation (like in other menus on this device) and i deleted the calibration data. No problem, right? This scanner can recalibrate it, right? Wrong. It cannot despite having a few different ways to attempt the procedure they have all failed. Able to break it but not able to fix it. So I went to the link on the listing which directed me to launch USA. They asked for the serial number and told me to gfm as they didn't make it and have zero idea what's going on. Ucarobdscanner or whatever listened to my problem and immediately told me to take it to a shop. I was under the impression this device was capable of avoiding that expense. It is not. This conversation began Dec 8. It is currently Dec 24 and they just came full circle after stringing me along wasting my time waiting a day between suggestions ive already attempted. I dont work on cars for a living but I repair automated machines and am not a complete boob. Its capable but has flaws that just cost me money I dont have and honestly I feel hoodwinked, like I've been conned by this company masquerading as a major brand. I dont even trust the actual launch name anymore. Its bs.

I like how easy to use this scan tool is. It automatically connects to every car I’ve tried it with, and has had every function and reset I have needed. It even allows you to graph 8 data PIDs at once.
