I really like the ease of use on the scanner. Launch always makes quality products and this is no exception! I was able to easily diagnose a problem with a jeep, and even reset the throttle position sensor. It has six of the most common maintenance functions included like battery reset, and oil life reset with a few others. Not a high end to still very effective for most day today shop problems and definitely good for a do it yourself guy. I can email the results of the health report as well. Just a great all-around tool for an amazing price.

I would recommend this to the diy people and for shops that do not need the bidirectional controls of the larger scan tools. This tool has 12 special functions which save you time. It reads the vin and scans very quickly for the 4 systems. Note additional special functions are available in the Mall app on this tool. Dtc library is nice and quiet helpful. I also like that you can go back and view previous scan results. Good battery life. For the price this is a great little tool to have.

After reviewing this tool I have to say I am impressed! The tool feels and functions so well. It does not feel like a cheaply made scanner you get from a parts store and rightfully so. This tool has some very great functions that make it one of the best tools I have used for the money. The screen is a very responsive touch screen with clear visibility. It has many functions that a high end tool would have but all at a price that is affordable. Not to mention that it’s small enough to keep with you if you’re traveling and you want to have a peace of mind in case of a breakdown. I am extremely happy with it and plan on getting more from LAUNCH.

I bought this scanner mainly for the EPB reset function so I could do the rear pads and rotors on my wife’s VW Tiguan. There were some slightly cheaper options that could achieve this but I went with this one to see if being Android and touch screen-based would make for better user experience. This scanner is definitely easy to use, especially when it comes to the advanced functions. Context menus provide a bit more information and guidance than one would typically expect from a budget scan tool. The english is pretty bad at times, but so far nothing completely unintelligible. I also checked out some of the data stream options as I figured it might help me track down a stubborn miss-fire issue that’s been plaguing the Tiguan for several months now. Unlike my lower end scan tool where each channel just gives a vague number and nothing else, most of the channels were labeled in plain english when using this tool so it was much easier to find the correct ones for monitoring. Your milage in that regard may vary, as I’ve only used this on a single vehicle thus far. Overall I think this is a fine scanner. There are some other options for not a great amount more money with additional functions, and there are some for quite a bit cheaper but with the trade-off of fewer functions and/or a less advanced interface. I tool off a star because the advertised TPMS tool was not included. I contacted the seller and received no reply after 2 weeks. It’s only a $10 little tool, but it’s still bad customer service. Don’t expect these guys to provide any help if you have a genuine problem that needs resolved.

This is an excellent Android tablet OBD2 scan tool. It has full maintenance features like battery, oil life, sas, epb, throttle, and other resets. This makes it very powerful for home repair use. I like that it auto recognizes your vehicle by VIN#, and generates vehicle health reports. It supports most modules on my 2007 Ford F150, and you can view selected PIDs on a custom screen. The battery monitor chart is very useful as well. The rubberized case is excellent, and it has a bright and easy to use touch screen, along with hardware buttons. This is an excellent scantool!

I am impressed with the product at this price. Although it doesn't have bi-directional features as more advanced and expensive models do, it offers extensive functions such as ABS reset, EPB, etc. What I need most for vehicles in my garage includes vehicle-specific OBD such as measuring automatic transmission temperature (for ATF replacement) and EPB reset (for rear brake service). These work nicely on my Lexus. The product feels sturdy and the screen, though relatively small, is actually of the right size to show sufficient details/text/graphics. It also comes with a TMPS reset gauge, which is what I need and will test when the season comes to switch tires.

I do work on the cars myself and help my friends so to have a good scan tool that somethings is more advance then ( bluedrive ) is a huge help! Picked up this unit on sale with discount code so its already a win! It comes packed with alot of options and functions that I think even will take some time to get use to. But having a large touch screen is a huge plus ! easy to navigate , read data see all the temps and codes . Out of the box I did had to update it but its easy just connect to wifi and it will update itself . After that connected to one of the cars and it autodetect the vin number and scan for codes. It can read alot of things not going to list them here as you can see them on the main page but it all works . Also can clear codes reset multiple things like oil , brakes and many more . Unit also has build it battery that you can change of use or when its connected to OBD2 port . So far very happy with the unit probably will update this post as time goes to add more information as I get better and better with the unit. But it works great used it on few cars Nissan and Toyotas .

Bought this unit in January 2024 and one week ago the battery died. Will not charge by either the external power supply or when connected to the vehicle's data port. Got ahold of Launch USA and they do not warranty this product. There is no option to replace through Amazon. I did find a chinese website but was unable to get anywhere despite being translated to English.
