In my opinion, this makes a great bedlamp! I can direct the light where I want it and how I want it. I can make it bright to see clearly in my corner of the bedroom, or I can make it dimmer when I don't want things bright. I could also easily rotate the head away from me so it's not shining in my eyes, which I do a lot. If I could say anything negative about it is the on off sensor light shines with the blue light up towards the ceiling all the time up so I cover the base with an index card when I sleep.. Also, when I adjust the light settings or put the card on the base, I sometimes inadvertently activate the brightness setting and surprises us just at the moment we are falling asleep.. It's just a moment annoyance but for those reasons I gave it four stars. I like that it has a night light feature for if I want to make a bathroom trip in the middle of night. I like the ease of operation and all the features so I'm overall happy with the light. It's a really cool light!

Great lamp I got it for my office at work. It does the job. I get headaches from the lights so I have them turned off and it’s a tad dark. This helps a lot. It’s a good price and just a nice modern lamp. Would be good for a night light next to your bed too.

I purchased one of these lamps for the nightstand of our guest room. It was so useful and clean looking that I replaced our own nightstand lights (Tiffany lamp. Yep. Real one) with this. When hubs goes to sleep he turns on the nightlight on my side so I can find the bed. Plug the phone in, and change to the blue light setting for reading before bed. Can't speak to its longevity, but I really hope it lasts. OTOH it's so inexpensive I guess I can replace them about 10,000 times before it costs as much as our old ones.

I bought one for my husband's desk and one for mine and so far they are great space saving lamps. Bright and great size for a crowded desk. Fits in and the little night light is nice because we dont have a light in the room that works off a wall switch so we can see them when its dark and we enter the room.

This light is better than I expected! I have this on a desk in the bedroom. When I am working on the desk I need a bright light and this works good for that. I also like that it has a night light button. If I need something in the middle of the night I can turn that on without it being too bright. There are also many setting in between that. It does everything I need plus more.
