I really like the lamp as it can adjust into different heights and light color. You can have different light in different circumstances. This is a wonderful lamp that provides a variety of lighting levels over the table at the non-profit coffeehouse that provides free meals throughout the week. The high ceiling lights give off a nice general lighting, but the lighting right over the tables can be dimmer than needed for visitors that want to read, sew or draw...these lights take care of the lighting needed for detailed work.
