Small and Mighty
I needed an extra source of heat for my home office. I don't necessarily want to heat the whole room, just me and maybe my feet. This seemed just the right size to put on my side table or the floor near my feet. It is powerful for its size and blows hot air immediately. It is not noisy and seems stable. I have had it for over a year and use it all winter long. The swivel function is great for moving the air around and can warm anyone within 5-10 feet. It has a low and high setting and might have just a no-heat fan function, but I am too lazy to go look. At any rate, I love this little heater (if one can ‘love’ a mechanical object). It would work great for any area. In fact, the room I use it in is 20 x 10 and it can heat up most of the room. It would be great for a cold bath room—used safely of course. It is stable on the corner of my table and or a wide shelf where I store it. It has never toppled over even when the desk is slightly bumped. A Great New Lasko Heater and A Surprise!
In 2015, TEN YEARS AGO, I bought the predecessor to this model. It stopped working (I thought) a few weeks ago. Happy with how long it had lasted, I ordered it's descendant, which worked great for a WEEK and then quit. Then I happened to notice printing on the outside of the new unit that instructed me to unplug it for 5 to 10 min if it stopped. I did, and it started right back up. Then I went out in the garage where the old one was waiting for me to take it to dead electronics for disposal. Though I hadn't noticed, it had displayed, though less visibly, the same restart instructions. So I plugged that old one in, and it's fine, too! I'd already discarded the packaging for the new one, so I can't return it, but that's okay. I found somewhere else to use it. Needless to say, I'm knocked out by Lasko. Nothing seems to last that long problem-free any more! Don't know if it's relevant, but the new unit went out when it was set on "energy efficient". I hadn't used that setting before on either unit, because it adjusts the thermostat to not run over 75 degrees, and I never wanted my space that hot, so I just shut it off myself below that point. Maybe that setting is an issue, maybe not, but at any rate, I'm glad to have these two great little heaters to keep my home thermostat low and help me get through the winter! ... show more

Great product
Lasko makes the best oscillating heater. The size it perfect. Most importantly it is super reliable, like a timer it just keeps on ticking. I’ve bought this as a gift as well. I highly recommend this particular model if you need a small heater that can heat a relatively large area.

Great little mighty unit for it’s size but…
First and foremost, quality is top notch. It was a lot smaller than expected(that’s what she said). It heat up a small 20’x20’ room pretty quickly. Doesn’t smell weird or anything. The only thing that I don’t get is the eco functionality of it. High gets the room hot and in the winter it’ll keep the room HOT. The low mode will do the same just not as quickly lol. Definitely have to keep the door open when this little guy is on. So you’d think the eco setting would be a great “in-between” right? Well when you set it on eco-mode. It just shuts off. Never once did it turn on to heat anything. Room got horrendously cold at night whilst on said eco-mode. I can’t find any literature on the eco-mode. Don’t get me wrong. I’d buy another unit in a heartbeat. It fits on a desk, dresser, bathroom counter. You name it. It’s about as compact as a small lunchbag to be honest. ... show more

Small size picture a lot of heat. Kept my little 500 square-foot apartment warm during winter. But it is easy to heat. Brilliant price and has been reliable

Big punch in a small package
Excellent space heater for small rooms, not as effective in larger rooms. Blower is powerful for such a small appliance. Button panel on top is aesthetically attractive and functions well. Automatic sensor and oscillating feature both work well. This heater is not child-safe in that the front grill of the heater is a metal-like substance, so it gets very hot and could cause serious burns. For adults, though, I highly recommend this heater. Quiet & Reliable
Pros: Quiet, meaning none of those annoying control buttons beep sounds electronics have. Perfect for use in 10’x10’ bathroom. Well made, our last one of this model lasted over 5 years! Cons: none I can think of.

Mixed thoughts..
Mixed feelings. If this was sitting on my desk blowing in my face it would do the trick but i wouldnt be able to work. When I sit with my hands or face about 12 inches away, it feels great. Nice and warm but the rest of me can't feel it or only just slightly. It sits on a table about three feet away, and I can't feel the heat. My students come and stand next to it. And I mean next to it. They say it's great. But they are standing 6 inches from it. I constantly tell them to move back. I am scared someone's hair or clothes will catch on fire. On the good side. The sides do not feel warm to the touch. There is a wall about 1 foot away to the side, and it is not warm at all - cool yo the touch. ... show more
