I bought a few of these Lasko MyHeat Personal Space Heater, Compact Heaters in both Black and the white. - I bought my 1st one of these in September of 2018 and it is STILL working! - I needed a bit of heat for under my chilly home office desk and thought this was a good size to try. - I liked it so much that I bought a few more to use as spares for when this one would eventually quit working. - Amazingly, this 1st little heater is STILL working and it is now January of 2026! WOW! - I have been using this Lasko MyHeat Heater ALL DAY, EVERY DAY for about 7 and a half years now! - I do have my husband use his garage air compressor to blow out any dust or dog hair about 3 or 4 times a year. - I still have not had to use the other spares I bought, because this one has never quit working, which is amazing! - I think the Lasko MyHeat is one of the best small heaters I have ever bought. - It takes the chill out from under my desk but does not make it too overly warm.. - I even use during most of summer too, as my home office stays pretty cool even in Summer. - If you want a nice, reliable small heater for under the desk use, I highly recommend this one! - I absolutely LOVE my little Lasko MyHeat Personal Space Heater! ... show more

    • Stick it to the man with this little heater!
I work in the same conditions that I'm sure many of you suffer in. Ones wherein the temperature is dictated by some all-knowing thermostat god, to whom we benignly obey and don't dare to question. Do you stare bitterly at the protective casing keeping that thermostat so painfully out of reach and off limits? Does no amount of toil warm you in that heat-deprived space? Well suffer no longer! Silently rebel with this tiny heater that packs a punch! I work in an office at the end of a hallway with a huge single-pane window. Needless to say, my office does not receive or maintain heat very easily. What's more, I was always warned against the use of space heaters, as they could trip the breaker and make you the office dunce for an afternoon, or worse--illicit the annoyed stare of the facilities worker as they came to right yet another one of your wrongs. With this little guy, you can easily circumvent all repercussions of your actions and enjoy the sweet relief of life-giving heat. When I was a young girl I developed DMV-esque levels of efficiency when it came to circulation in my hands and feet (that is, none at all). Having a medical excuse for being a big baby helped me justify the breaking of an office rule to buy this little heater, and I'm glad I did! It's tiny and hides easily under your desk, is virtually silent, and is a great crutch if you are lacking in the circulation department! What's more, the voltage and amps are extremely low (about the equivalence of running two light bulbs) so the chances that you will be at fault for tripping any breakers is literally zero. One day at work the breaker tripped and I was busted for having a heater under my desk (along with several other shivering coworkers). Among all the contraband, my heater was found to be blameless at a mere 1.5 amps. Today, my heater continues to chug along under my desk with immunity. It has run for multiple days straight and has not yet burned my place of work down. If you're looking to stick it to the man on a budget, this little heater is just the thing for you. ... show more

    • Great little heater for on top of the desk
This is a great little desk heater. It's not very hot at all, so that makes it great if you want it up on top of your desk to keep you warm while you work. I know sometimes heaters can get too hot, this will not be the case with this heater. And the purple is super cute! I'm glad I got it. It will be nice for sitting on top of my desk. HOWEVER - I'll explain a few drawbacks below: This is the third time I've bought this heater over the years. I used to travel 100% for work and would have to go to cold work sites in places like Minnesota or Wisconsin. So I liked this heater because it fit in my suitcase great, and I could pop up up on my desk next to my laptop and stay warm-ish while working - well, warmer than I would have been without it anyway. The reason I bought it a few times is because there were a couple of times where I ended up forgetting it in the office when leaving the project. BUT - now, I work from home and I would rather have a heater down on the floor by my feet that warms up the general area around my desk. My home office has three windows that I work next to, and the heat just doesn't seem to be enough in here. So I remembered how much I liked this heater back when I traveled, and decided to order it again. This heater is not good for the purpose of heating a room, or being under you desk a foot or so away to heat your feet. Even under my desk a couple of feet away I can't feel it on my feet, it has to be almost right next to my feet to do anything. It really only puts out like 80 degree temps and a foot or two away you can barely feel that. I would say that this is a great heater for a small office cube, for traveling, or for sticking on top of your desk and not taking up much room - but if you are in a stationary office, or want something to heat up a general space - this is not the right heater. It got kind of cold last night, so I took it into my bedroom and put it on my nightstand because my bed is by the window and it got a bit colder. I could not even feel the heat coming from this a little bit! Not a bit at all! It was about arms length away. I left it on all night thinking maybe over time it would still warm me up, and when I woke up, still couldn't feel it. I guess I have a bigger bedroom and good airflow/ventilation.. but again it it was within arms length away and I didn't have a fan on or anything. Also, never really noticed how loud it was in my office, but being next to the bed, it does make some noise and it bothered me for a little bit before I finally fell asleep. So I wouldn't recommend it as a bedside/nightstand heater either. Reasons to get this: It's cute, it's cheap, it's super small, it's somewhat quiet for a desktop heater, works well if you want it directly next to your skin. Reasons not to get this: It doesn't put out enough heat to impact a few feet away, it's too loud for a bedside heater. ... show more

Great little heater for being so small! Works perfect. I've used it under my desk and on my countertop. I bougth this originally to use with my Ecoflow when needed because of the low wattage but will definitely use during the winter months at home. It's not going to heat a room but will take the chill off a small area. The housing stays cool to the touch and the small profile makes it so portable. Great purchase! ... show more
