When my last fan broke I wasn’t sure what type of fan I wanted and since I have a large bedroom I almost bought a set of wall fans but picked this because I liked the way it looked and wanted something that wasn’t in the way and I could move if I needed. I’ve had it for awhile now and it gets used all the time. The remote is convenient and it is a bit heavier than you’d think but not bad. I saw a comment when I was buying it that said the stand fell apart everytime they moved it and it was too loud but that hasn’t been my experience. It’s never bothered me or my wife and has a handle on the back that makes it easy to move and if the stand is set up right you won’t have a problem but even if it did come apart you’d simply use 1 hand for the fan and the other for the base. As long as it keeps working as well as it has been over the next couple years when it does go out I’d buy it again. ... show more

I love this item because I have dogs. I like the tower fans but don't like then close to the floor. It's not loud. It has the perfect amount of white noise.

The assembly instructions are lacking. There is a screw located in both the stand base and the fan base that both need to be removed and reinstalled once all the parts are connected. If the screw isnt removed from the fan base it will be wobbly on the post. Once correctly assembled everything is tight, secure and works great. ... show more

Remote features are fine but it wasn't long before fan became way to loud for our bedroom. Compact size was also a nice feature. Maybe we can find a use for it someplace where fan noise is not an issue.
