Excellent to play with your Kids. Is like our traditional "Lego" block UPDATED
It really ups the challenge and increases creativity and problem solving, developing ingenuity and adding a new level of "difficulty and fun" to our beloved classic blocks. They are compatible with other block kits which increases functionality and expands your sets. Good quality time to share with your little ones at home. The technical support is excellent, fast and very generous. I really congratulate this company for their work and continuous development, the software is simple and intuitive.

Husband approved!
Kept my husband busy for hours haha. He’s been watching the robotics competitions and wanted to try for himself on a smaller scale. Was a great toy for him to experiment with.

Fun to build, a few minor issues
Overall this was a great gift for my kids. For one of the designs it took some work to get the motors to sit in the correct spot and function without bumping bricks off, but we eventually got it working. Instead of having a rumble, the kids set up an obstacle course and again, for the most part the robots functioned correctly. There were a few times when parts seemed to heavy for the movement they were supposed to make but overall a fun way to spend time together.

Ran into minor kinks, but overall a fun experience
My daughter and I had a blast putting these robots together. She's 5, so I had to do most of the motor construction for her, but she was able to use the lego parts to build the robot structure. The labels showing how to connect the motors were not correct. You may need to figure it out via trial and error. We used the phone apps to control the robots. The Android app crashed often. The iOS app worked well. Otherwise we had a great time building then having a mini robot war like the show "Battlebots" on YouTube.

1-Parent Households : don't buy!
My 9 yr old son adores combat robotics and I was so excited to get him this set so he could be creative and finally make his own bots. Unfortunately, each bot requires a phone to use as a controller and I didn't realize it ahead of purchase. How awful I feel... it's like this product rubbed having only one parent in his face. We enjoyed constructing the robots and it is a total shame that some cheap controllers couldn't be included in the package. I don't get the need to have phones as controllers... It's just a novelty... We used the app once while visiting out-of-state family (brought the bots and had a grandparent download the app so we could use them finally!), And I found the App/controls really weird and REALLY difficult to use. As cool as this product is in concept, I wish I had not spent the money on it. It was a lot of money for us and it feels like it ultimately was a waste since we don't have two phones in our house.
