I got the Mileseey D5 with 70m range. I am surprised by its excellent accuracy. I ran some tests against a tape measure for six distances using the feet-inch-fraction units. The results ranged from 0" error at best to 5/16" (7.9mm) at worst. Holding the device very steady I think helps the accuracy so the 5/16" error may be operator error. Angle accuracy was 0.5° or better. Due to the built-in digital clinometer, a single measurement taken with the unit on the floor, angled up is all that is needed for a nearby wall height. It does the trigonometry automatically. This thing will make short work of measuring rooms in a house. It has a add/subtract function. Not a big deal unless you're using feet-inch-fraction units. If you are subtracting two feet-inch-fraction measurements it gives the result in feet-inch-fraction--a big help with US measurements. The displayed precision is to 1/16". If it was any tighter I wouldn't believe it anyway so I'm glad it does not show 1/32" as some models do. My limited tests outdoors for 42 feet and 52 feet were as close as I could get on a tape, even when I could not see the laser dot in direct sunlight. If you want to get any decent life from the batteries you need to turn off the laser as soon as practical. The laser will drain the two small AAA batteries in a hurry. It would have been better if it used higher capacity AA batteries. It comes with a cloth bag--better than nothing but not ideal in a tool box. I would have preferred a belt pouch. While we're at it a tripod mount would be a help. No such luck on the D5. It would aid outdoor measurements. There are a few errors in the included user manual: -- It does not show the Pythagoras 3-point mode (which the D5 does do) -- It says to use the included target plate for long distances--but mine did not include a target plate. -- It says memory capacity is 20 measurements. Mine holds 30. I could not find a pdf manual for the D5 but if you can find the pdf manual for the Tacklife S2 with similar buttons it is nearly identical in operation and specs. I'm impressed with the price/performance of the D5. I'm done measuring a 30 foot span with a 25 foot tape. I gave it five stars for price/performance, even with its minor negatives. It's a keeper--but have spare batteries handy.

I don’t know why I waited so long to purchase one of these. I will never go back to an aluminum tape measure. This is so easy tI don’t know why I waited so long to purchase one of these. Excellent for difficult areas that you need to measure. Product appears to be very well-made. I should last a long time. I’m very pleased with this purchase so I can recommend it to anyone.

This measuring device is accurate to it's rated claim. I had no issues with it not being correct. The only issue I had was trying to old it steady for distance measuring, but that just means less caffeine before try to measure a great distance. Works well in the light but hard to see the laser dot at a long distance in direct sunlight. If using outdoors best to use it in the shade. I like that it keeps a record of the measurements so you don't have to write them down after every time. You can make several measurements and then write them down after you are done measuring.
