So far I've had this on my coop for about 5 months and it works great! I really like that you can adjust the open/ close settings to either light sensitivity or time, that makes it less work than trying to keep reprogramming what time it opens or closes when the days start getting shorter in the fall and winter. The solar panel keeps it fully charged. The size is great, even for large Rhode Island Red roosters. I have not had any issues and I will be ordering another one in the spring to be able to set it up for a certain time of day for my chickens to free range, rather than just have this current one that opens into their run from the coop. The remote is ok, it doesn't work from very far away, but truthfully I don't care about that,it's just one more thing for me to lose... (As I'm writing this review, I have no clue where the remote is... Haha) I definitely recommend this coop door!

So easy to set up & RELIABLE!! This is the 3rd one of these I've bought, yes I have 3 different coops for different sets of birds. This is the only auto door I've not had problems with & it even opens below freezing unlike 3 others I tried! Wouldn't hesitate to buy again if I set up another coop (which is probably happening 😂)

Works great so far, chickens were used to it after the first night. I like that the gate swings open outward instead of rolling up like many other auto chicken doors. My coop has an overhang that would prevent the other gates from working, so I’m glad this one works as advertised. The build quality appears solid. The only reason I have given it 4 stars instead of 5 is because the light sensor is too course. I tried using it the first night but it shut way too early, even with the sensitivity turned way down to near its lowest setting. I will just have to manually reprogram the timer throughout the year as the sunset/sunrise times change. No big deal, but it would be nicer if the photo sensor just worked a bit better and I wouldn’t have to do that, then it would be truly automatic! Oh well, hope this review helps someone.

Awesome little door. Had to modify the original hole from my old door to make it work but am very happy with it easy to use and set up opens nice and wide. I’ve tried pulling it open and it won’t move so nice and sturdy and safe for the chickens.

Extremely displeased with this product. I lasted 5 months in our chicken coop before failing to open or close. The timer was still working, but the door wasn't engaging. The door has a 2 year warranty, so I reached out to Amazon and the manufacturer, Masterfun. I was advised that I needed to reach out to the seller. I disassembled the door to see if I could fix the issue myself, and located a severed plastic shaft on one of the plastic cog wheels. I'm not sure what Masterfun thinks the seller is going to do for me, as it's Masterfun's 2 year warranty attached to the purchase of the door. I will leave you with buyer beware and you get what you pay for.

I was tired of getting up early to let out the chickens. This door has been a lifesaver! I like the solar panel since I don't have an outlet nearby. The solar panel even works well in the winter when there isn't as much sun.

So far so good with this run door. It was easy to install. The opening is a perfect size for hens and larger than normal roosters. I love the manual open/close knob that it comes with and a remote to use from far away. The price was a big selling point for me. It seems very durable. The door itself is metal. It doesn't seem like a chicken would get stuck in the door either. It has a slow closure allowing a chicken to have enough time to get out of the way. Overall I am very happy with the door.
