I have the spectra S1 rechargeable and this pump. I don't pump that frequently because I'm not working so just be aware of that when reading the review. Pros: You get more for your money with this one. I like the suction on this. The cups with the rubber on the end make it more comfortable than the Spectra. I also like that this pump has less parts and I find them easier to wash. I like the size of the pump...it's much more compact and it comes in a carry case and an insulated bag for the milk. More portable than the Spectra. Overall more comfortable. Cons: Since I don't pump that frequently the app isn't helpful for me but maybe it would be for someone else. This pump is louder than the Spectra. I also like that the Spectra recharges and doesn't use batteries. But obviously this also plugs in so it can be attached to the wall or not. The spectra has a little light on it which I used if I needed to pump at night. I didn't use it a lot but I liked that. ... show more

This was definitely an upgrade from my Ameda pump that was giving to me for free through me insurance. Pros: - the suction is great, -it can be portable with batteries, -comes with extra accessories, -the app is very helpful in tracking how many Oz are pumped in a day and it allows you to compare with other days. -comes with nipples which you can attach to the pump bottle to feed the baby right after pumping. -It really empties your breast fully Cons: -It doesn’t come with a stand to place the bottles. -The sounds is loud (main reason why I don’t rate it 5 stars). I am currently breastfeeding my third child. This is my fourth pump. I am reviewing it using my experience with two of my other pumps, which are also non hospital grade. Overall, I liked this pump. First, I love the size of it. My other pumps are bigger, so they are harder to carry while on the go. This one was small and would easily fit into a small sized bag. Secondly, I loved that it came with some many parts and extras. The carrying bag and small cooler bag with ice pack are awesome extras. The pump also comes with two sets of different sized flanges, so you can pick whichever fits best. They are more comfortable than most because the outer edges are lined with a soft plastic. The pump has a letdown feature which is a must and has adjustable sucking levels and patterns. I tried the corresponding app and I think it would be especially beneficial for first time moms. Since this is my third child, I don't really need to use the app. A con is that it took slightly longer to pump the same amount of milk using this pump than it does with my other two non hospital grade pumps. I've been pumping every night, almost every 2-3 hours at night to get enough milk to have some time during the day to run around other errands and to spend time with my oldest child during the day. I have had so far a really good experience with this pump. It has a strong suction and the breast cups are soft on the breast. I made sure that they fit properly and have not had a friction issue that hurt my nipples so far neither. It is really a good pump to try out as it does the same job as other brands out there for a higher price. I also love the fact that I can adjust the suction and pumping levels to what works the best for me. ... show more

This is my second pump for work and while it isn't my spectra, it has a lot of great features. I like that it goes from let down to another setting automatically because I have forgotten it in let down I don't know how many times on my other pump. It's also compact and travels easily. It is quite a bit louder than the e spectra, but I don't mind since I use it in the office anyway. I do wish the screen stayed lit or there was a light on it, but as I'm not using it at home all the time, it's not a huge deal. I don't use the app but mine vane with tons of extra parts which was helpful because I pump twice a day in the office in a old building that I don't trust the water, so I either put it in a sanitizing bag in the microwave with distilled water or leave it in the bag until I get home to clean. I do wish the flanges came in smaller sizes because I use a 21 mm on my spectra and these are clearly a lot bigger than that, but it hasn't caused any issues with the amount I pump. Actually, I can get sometimes pump in less time, but only by a few minutes. I love both pumps for my different needs and recommend this as a work pump or one that's used occasionally since it's not easy for night or early morning use ... show more

First time Mom here, I’ve used both this pump and the Signature Pro. The only difference between the two that I have noticed is the app connectivity. The app itself is nicely set up and helpful for keeping track of all sorts of things. The bonus is that it automatically logs your pumping TIME. You still have to enter volume manually. I loved that it came with a travel bag and cooler as my signature pro didn’t. I also like that I can use batteries with this pump as well, though I did notice that the suction strength drastically decreases when the battery isn’t full anymore. That is the only reason I am giving this 4/5. 5/5 would recommend this pump to a friend. ... show more
