Description

This Endpin Rest for Bass or Cello is the Original Rock stop. It's a nice semi-soft hockey puck a little bigger than 3 1/2 inches and a little more than a half-inch thick. It has ribbing on the bottom to help it stay in place on most any surface. In the center is a generous, rounded 1+ inch golden cup that is almost a half inch deep, easy to aim for and hit even on a dimly lit stage.

Just received this today. Was shipped and delivered fast, but looks used. I saw another review that said their rock stop looked used too. It's in the package and it doesn't look like it's been tampered with. Maybe it's just some cheap metal that's degrading quickly or this has been sitting on the shelf for an eternity? Either way, I'm not going to return it because my daughter needs it for school in September (going from violin to the cello) and we're not really sure if the school is going to provide a rock stop, as they had it on the supply list. As long as it does its job properly, I can get past the discoloration. It is a little disappointing that it looks like that and it's supposed to be brand new, but it wasn't expensive and I guess you get what you pay for. I'd be furious if I'd actually paid a chunk of change for it and it looked like this. Oh well. ... show more

Ha sido útil a la hora de tocar mi cello, a veces en ciertas superficies tiende a deslizarse un poco con el tiempo. Pero es bastante práctico, ya que no siempre tengo donde sostener la correa pero con esto no es necesario preocuparse con eso. Es mucho más grande de lo que esperaba. La estética y material es un tanto decepcionante, es solo un pedazo de goma y lo del centro parece que en cualquier momento se va a despegar.     • Say "No" to a scratched floors
After awhile it gets easier to set a 3/4 upright bass on this (the 1st time around) without squatting in an awkward position. No more scratched or scarred floors. Worth the money to keep carpets and flooring intact.
