By far the best breast pump I’ve purchased! Let me start by saying I’m not an overproducer. When my baby got sick, my supply dropped significantly, and my portable pumps just weren’t cutting it anymore. I was recommended the Spectra (pink) pump and loved it, but this one has been a total game changer! I love having more settings to customize my pumping experience, and the fact that it has two separate motors means I can get the same suction strength on both sides, which has helped me get better output. With my other pumps, I had to pump one breast at a time to get the same level of power. This pump has made such a difference, and I’m so glad I made the switch!

I have 3 kids all of which I have pumped for. I have used Medela, EvenFlo, MomCozy Wearable pump, the Spectra S2 (also a great pump), and variety of hand pumps. Nothing has been as impressive as this pump. The price tags is a bit of an ouch but I will say that I have had this pump for three years and I've pumped for 18 months on it and it is still going and the suction is still great. I am also an over producer. In the first 9 months I produce over 70 ounces in a day and this pump can handle it and does a great job of emptying breasts. It's also going for women with largers breasts because the pump has the power to help get all that milk out. With other pumps I would still feel like there was milk left after pumping. The dual settings are great for individual adjustments so you can adjust for comfort or to try to kick the slacker-boob into gear. It is very easy to find pump parts and replacement parts such as tubes, duckbills, large bottles or different flanges that work with the spectra. It is a closed system pump so the milk stays in the bottle area and never goes anywhere near the tubing making it last so much longer It's not the quietest pump but I've honestly never had an issue with baby or hubs waking up in the middle of the night because I'm pumping. Is easy to see the settings in the dark so you're not guessing if you've got the right button. It is not the lightest pump in the world so if you're taking it to work regularly it will get heavy but there are bags that fit in and honestly, if rather carry this around and be comfortable and know I'm getting a good pumping session in than use something more portable. I highly recommend this pump. I tell all my soon-to-be mom friends about it! Way to go Spectra! Keep up the good work!

I bought this as a recommendation from my lactation consultant. I have the Momcozy s12 pro, medela pump in style and this one. I’ve been using it for 2 months now. It is sooooo worth it! The only downfall is being plugged in and not being able to get anything done but it better to relax when pumping anyway.

I got this pump, mostly paid by insurance. I used it, I loved it. It is fully customizable for each side which is ideal. It is a really strong pump and helped keep my milk supply strong and steady but the trade off is it has to be plugged in. My pump broke, so I had to use a backup from a friend. A Spectra 1. It was not anywhere near as good and my milk supply dropped significantly. and I tried to follow up with Spectra for the 2 year warranty. They will not honor purchases from Amazon. I had registered my pump when I first got it and they said no. Luckily, once we knew nobody would help us we said heck with the warranty lets fix it ourselves and it was fairly easy. BUT lesson learned. If you're going to spend a lot of money on this pump (which you should), buy it direct from Spectra. They have a coupon floating around for 20% off too.

A week ago I would have written a 5 star review for this product, however, the suction stopped working on my pump and I could not get it working again. I used this pump for about 3 hours a day for the last 5 months since I had my baby, so it has less than 500 hours on it. I contacted Spectra since this product was purchased in March 2023 and it's supposed to have a 2 year warranty. According to Spectra's warranty department the only "authorized retailer" through amazon is something called Pattern Store, which apparently was not the one that defaulted when I purchased this pump for over $300. So now I'm out $300 with no pump and the best Spectra could do was give me $40 off a new one. No thanks, I don't want to spend another $300 for a pump that only worked for 5 months of pumping.

Truly love this pump. Second time mama here and I hated pumping with my first baby. I had the medela and ended up exclusively breastfeeding bc it was such an awful pump. The spectra gold is so quiet and strong, I barely turn up the suction and it does the job! It is also so nice to be able to pump one side longer and at different auctions. Truly love this pump and has me excited to pump so daddy can also give bottles and bond with baby!

PROS: Reliable, doesn't need charging. Will have to sit for pump session which I see as a mandatory break :) Parts easy to clean. Parts easy to assemble, quick start. Two sizes of breast shields provided with device. Easy to adjust suction from very low to higher level. Can adjust suction on each side separately, can start or stop each side separately. Remembers previous session settings Quiet but still audible Night light and back light touch panel Sleek design Very fast international shipping from seller. CONS hooked to electricity, not portable No space to hold bottles like previous models Switching from simulation to expression mode cannot be done separately for each side. Need to manually dial down settings of previous session if you want to start on lower suction. Automatic shut off at 30 minutes (normal for most pumps) Breast shields not so comfortable but not bad either (can connect to pumpables liquid shield set- see pic) Must handle pumped milk carefully, bottles not very stable, also capacity only 160 ml Somewhat large and heavy. Minimal accessories provided with purchase. Milk collection bottles dont come with a cap (rather a teet and disc). Customer service not excellent. Claimed the one I bought off amazon was not genuine. I'm pretty sure its genuine. American plug. Will need adaptor. Voltage compatible with international. Soft pump parts need to be boiled for 2 minutes (standard sterilizer will take longer. I add boiling water to a mug and remove after 2 minutes) Valves and membranes will need replacement (standard for most pumps) I still have to manually massage to get maximum volume. I had higher expectations from a spectra pump, but that could just be my personal anatomy. Overall: I feel it was a valuable purchase and I use it more than my other 2 portable pumps, but I cannot say that it feels very superior. The milk output is about the same range, maybe slightly more. The main reason I stick to is that the pump parts are easier to clean and assemble. You would still need a portable pump if you need to pump at work.
