    • Good blades just difficult to replace
Not too pricey, good edge on blades, terrible procedure for blade replacement. Get yourself a good chest high place to work from , like a sturdy work bench, and put chipper on it. Remove wheels and outer shell of chopper to get at blades. Some rust buster or good penetrating oil to loosen up bolts. A good set of Allen wrenches would be nice. Make sure to disconnect spark plug cable before starting procedure! ... show more

    • THESE BLADES MOST DRFINATELY DO NOT FIT THE DEX BRUS HMASTER CHIPPER
Reading the reviews one reviewer stated when asked if these blade would fit the Dex Brush Master Chipper. Instead of a definite NO! the reply was they needed modification. To me an accepted modification would entail a slight enlargement in the hole size to accommodate a larger size screw.. As an Industrial Engineer I can tell you only one hole out of the three could be lined up, necessitating recutting and enlarging the other two holes into an oval, which if fool enough to try would leave a severely weakened and poorly secured blade, highly likely to fracture sending pieces of hardened metal out of the machine at high velocity. To my knowledge all the Brush Master Chippers use the same blade, so the answer to this question is these blades absolutory DO NOT FIT the DEX Brush Master Chippers. ... show more

    • The Good & The Bad ...
The good is that these replacement blades fit perfectly on my Great Circle 7hp Mini Wood Chipper. The bad is that they dull extremely fast. After about an hour of chipping up Douglas Fir branches ( green and about one inch thick) the blades lost about half their effectiveness. In about two and a half hours the blades are completely dull. I assume the metal is softer than other blades and dulls quicker. I hope to find other blades that will fit and hold their sharpness longer than these blades. ... show more

We bought a chipper shredder in the fall. Hubby used it until the snow prevented him from doing more. This spring, he used the chipper for a couple days off very heavy use. Noticed the blades were getting dull. Ordered these new blades. He installed them in less than 20 minutes and he was back to chipping in no time. Would highly recommend for anyone who has the super handy chipper shredder. ... show more
