The first one arrived broke. But the shipping box was bent, so even with the other reviews, I re ordered. No other light was as low profile, or as perfect for a terrarium. I am soooo glad that I did. The second one arrived perfect. A strong metal body, blue plastic end caps that glow when the light is on. I put a couple vase filler glass gems order one side to angle the light away from me as it is very bright. It has an on off switch and a real plug. (No USB adapter required). This has a great price tag. It works great for plants on my 5 gallon tank. I believe it would be good for a ten gallon planted tank as well. I just wish that it had a blue nightlight.

I like the light, it's decent, affordable, but I returned the first one because the cover over the bulbs had small cracks. The replacement arrived with the same problem, I am assuming it is just poor packaging, bummer. I did decide to keep them both and just pay for the second one too, it's just annoying to pay for a "broken" produ t, even if it doesn't affect the the performance. ... show more

What I disliked about the product is it caused algae to grow. I never had algae problems until I started using this light. I’m going to throw it away. I’ve had to clean my tank with in a few days after cleaning the tank. Ugh. Thankful I only have a 5 gallon tank!

Came in already cracked. The brackets easily slide out of the holder and it wasn’t even the size I bought. Extremely disappointed.

It came in no problems been using for several months now without any issues. i really like the clips that attach to the tank, i trust them so much more than the cheesey metal slides that are on my more expensive light. it is really thin and the white gives it a cleaner look.
