It should be possible to setup a printer using just a printer driver instead of being forced to install the vendor’s custom application on your computer. If you download and unpack the Kyocera application installer you can actually find and extract the printer driver file (PA2000w.ppd). macOS even correctly recognizes the printer driver. However, when you attempt to print you’ll get an error message saying that you must install the Kyocera application. ... show more

This printer was amazing but quit printing well after only 8 months. Purchased 2 different cartridges thinking the first one was bad but the second one didn't work either. Thankfully Amazon let me return both cartridges. So sad because I really liked the printer a lot. It worked great until it didn't. ... show more

The product may seem flimsy but works rather efficiently. With the YouTube video on the product, setup was a breeze. It's not too noisy and the print quality was excellent. I have no regrets. Buy something else. Extremely hard to set up for wireless. I never did get it to work after spending hours trying and retrying.

    • Buy this only if you like to be frustrated.
It has big-time problems connecting to the computer. WIth USB or Wi-Fi, its shows status as 'not connected' or 'not ready'. I eventually gave up, tossed it the trash, and bought a real printer. This is a joke. Stay away.
