It's actually a high quality kit and it's worth the price! I didn't think I needed everything because the simple green spray I had said self-rinsing but it turns out it really helps get the crime off of the unit with the little pump bottle the brushes I found less helpful because I was a little bit too intimidated to take off the metal screen there were too many screws and I actually lost two in the process anyway but I was able to get everything disassembled cleaned and reassembled and the pump bottle is amazing as is the bag and hose! Very high quality I was shocked! Very very happy đź’ś I think it took about an hour or two for me to clean it and that was just multiple passes with the simple Green foam and multiple passes with the rents on the internal fan beware cover everything with towels LOL when it started it back up after it had dripped for a while I did get some water droplets going everywhere but it seems like it is doing just fine now I put mine on about 70 degrees low fan and dry so that it'll help take the humidity out of the system and out of the air

This mini split cleaning kit is the bomb! It made cleaning my mother's filthy mini split a breeze. I would highly recommend purchasing if you are going to attempt to clean your own mini split. Various brush sizes. The pressure sprayer worked perfectly for rinsing the unit.

I purchased this DIY mini split cleaning kit to avoid calling an HVAC company and spending a couple hundred dollars. It was well worth the money! Make sure you get the correct size for your unit. I have four Gree Mini Split heads that were installed in December 2022 following Hurricane Ian, which damaged the original outside AC/heat unit. Being fairly handy I've dismantled one of my four AC heads last year in order to attempt cleaning the blower wheel. I used thin drop cloth plastic, taping that to the unit and funneling the plastic into a bucket to catch water. That sort of worked but left a mess! This kit works much better. Each AC head is operated in DRY mode from May till October while up north to eliminate humidity. I've noticed that the blower wheel gets covered with caked on crud. Several YouTube videos show this blower wheel being removed and cleaned with a pressure washer, possibly depending on the manufacturer. The blower wheel on my unit is not easily removed and so I didn't want to venture into that invasive process. The first AC head I started cleaning worked out fairly well and involved a learning curve that can be applied to the remaining three units. There’s probably many brands of mini split units on the market with different designs but my review pertains to the Gree mini split brand that I have with the filter on the top, not the front. As the phrase goes “your mileage may vary”. Lessons learned: 1. The first attempt was to follow the instructions. I found that this method allowed liquid to leak behind the units main cover and down the wall. I used the Simple Green Foaming Coil Cleaner, which really doesn’t foam much as seen in videos. Also it’s a concentrate and has to be mixed with water. I put this cleaning solution in a ZEP brand spray bottle from the hardware store. One thing I noticed was the solution seemed to loosen the thin adhesive “foam” on the face of the main cover. I think this is where the flip down cover may rest against. 2. The small pump sprayer supplied with the kit was pretty much useless because when tipped backwards to spray water on the blower wheel the top leaked and rolled down the handle causing a mess. I scrapped this sprayer (garbage) and went to my 2 gallon pressurized garden sprayer with the flexible hose - much better! 3. The small cleaning tools provided work well, although I found the white toothbrush style brush to be the best followed by the brush that looks like a basting brush. The blower wheel fins have a curve to them so sometimes not all dirt can be removed. 4. After the initial clean I opted to remove the main cover. By the way, the evaporator coils and fins were not dirty at all, just the blower wheel. This process worked much better. Two caveats for access to the blower wheel - my unit has a grill in frant of the side-to-side directional vanes. This grill was easily removed to gain access to the blower wheel, however the directional vanes, although they can be removed are somewhat more fragile as the connector tabs to the main arm can be broken easily. All in all the other three head should go much better, knowing what I know now. Hope this wasn’t too long or detailed. Pictures show better detail.

Awesome kit! It had everything you need to clean your mini split unit several times over! Everything was quality, from the small tools, pump sprayer, plastic wrap with tape and the pvc funnel. The kit worked as intended and minimized the mess. Would definitely buy again if I needed another.

Good cleaning set. The catch bag hold well and lays flat to the wall well while cleaning. The pump sprayer is okay. A regular pump sprayer can get higher pressure though. Overall was a good purchase to clean our Mr. Cool units since we did a DYI install most HVAC service folks in our area won't service our units.. works like new again after a good cleaning

Worked great. The kit came with everything I needed except for a bucket to catch the dirty water. But I knew that and had one on hand. Our mini split had not been blowing as hard, nor cooling as well as it did when we put it in. The blower fan blades were coated thick in dust. The coils had a coating also, that I could not tell before cleaning them. It is now working great again! There are several type of brushes that can be used on the coils and the blower fan. The majority of the cleaning as done by warm water in the sprayer provided. I filled it 5 times and hosed all the dirt off the blower fan.
