Great product. There is a reason for buying this and one would have to do their own research. I can tell you it works. The smell is a rather vintage smell but everyone around me seems to love it. Will be keeping this stocked up.

This was a gift for my father-in-law, it is the only scent he wears. I like that it is not over powering and does not seem to bother my allergies. It is a nice clean smelling cologne.

So a buddy of mine told me he read some story on the next how this cologne/aftershave is scientifically proven to attract women because of the pheromones it gives out. Well I don't know about all that but I did hear it smells pretty good. So what it comes down to is your taste in cologne. If your more into products like POLO, Armani, etc. than I wouldn't recommend this product. Some reviews have said it smells like old mans cologne/aftershave but I don't feel that way either. To me it has kind of a flowery/fruity smell but in a good way. I was drawn to it (maybe the pheromones) jk. It doesn't last forever but I did notice when I would sweat from heat or the gym hours later the smell would come back out and many women complimented it. The choice is yours... ... show more

My husband has used this after shave for about 30 years. I cannot imagine him wearing anything else! It is getting more expensive and much harder to find anymore, but I will keep on searching it out and paying whatever I have to in order to keep this fragrance in the house for him to wear!     • A bit high on cost but that is what one has to pay for name.
Typical Eau Sauvage fragrance- pleasant and refreshing. EDT May have been a better option as it has atomiser.
