Decent clock for the money. I've had this red LED clock for a year and so far so good. I deducted a star because the dimming function is almost imperceptible. It takes 4 batteries to power which seems a little excessive. However, the clock doesn't drain the batteries. I've used rechargeable batteries that have lasted a year before I needed to change them. I don't understand the reviews that say it's difficult to program. It's pretty easy unless your clock is defective. The indicators for PM and alarm are small (for middle aged eyes at least) and are located in the corners. The alarm is not terribly loud which I prefer, but might not be great for those that sleep through alarms. The depth of the clock is a little thick and I don't like the look on the wall so I have it on the counter. I'm happy with this purchase overall. For a non corded clock this is a good buy for the size and functionality. ... show more

I love this digital clock because a set of batteries will lasts "forever". I have had this for about two years now and each set of fresh AA batteries lasts for around 6 months. I've had this clock for over a month now. My reaction is mixed. Of course, it keeps time accurately; its numerals are easy to read under any light conditions; it's nice and compact; and it has an alarm with a snooze button. Those are all wonderful attributes. But, every time I want to change an alarm function setting I need to use the small, sometimes hard to understand, instructions (instructions that were clearly written by someone whose main language is not English)! Ease of changing alarm times is important since I am retired and often wake up at different times in the morning. Alarm and time change adjustments are made with a set of four buttons on the backside of the clock. What makes that tough is the close-space, square configuration of those roughly 5/16-inch flush round buttons at the rear of the clock. They're tough to use when all I want to do is shut off the alarm immediately upon its waking me. My fingers are normal size but they're too large to find the right button on the back of the unit when I don't have glasses on and I'm hardly awake. I conclude this unit is best suited for someone with a regular, unchanging wake-up time, as that will greatly minimize the need for that person to make setting adjustments. Good luck! ... show more
