Bought this for my 9 yr old grandson & he loves it. We used it the 1st time on the 4th of July. It takes about 10-12 minutes to fully heat up. Marshmallows roast a little slower than regular fire, but that just added to the excitement. Yes, your marshmallow can catch on fire so adult supervision is needed.     • The burning metal smell can be a bit much.
Such a great idea, but it does have a smell when the metal is heating up that isn't super great. It does take awhile to roast the marshmallow but it does get it good and soft. Cleans up easily, and seems built sturdy,
