Great set of starter walkie talkies for a 4 yr old. She absolutely loves them. Easy for her to use because of the PTT button being in the center instead of on the side. I do want to note that these are supposed to go "up to three miles" . Not that I expect it to go that far with a kids product, but maybe 1/2 mile is all these will actually go. And even then it gets quite difficult to hear the other person. Still recommend it if you are just having the kids play around the house or in the yard. Just don't expect that these will go that far. Also want to note that for kids walkie talkies these have a lot of features I didn't expect. You have 22 channels to choose from, a call button with about 6 options for how that sounds, you can scan channels, and a flashlight on the top. There are more features I haven't figured out yet as well. Better than I was expecting for 20 dollars.

powerful walkie talkies. unfortunately I wouldn't let my kids use them because you can connect to other channels with strangers.we actually were able to connect to a local restaurants channel about a mile away hahaha. I would say not suitable for kids under 10 but they are great quality for the price.

Daughter loved this. But batteries run out a little quicker, might be reasonable since it is looking for radio signals continuously. But we loved it. And it makes a great birthday present

I bought these fory daughter for Christmas and we absolutely love them. They are great quality and we have a lot of fun talking to each other on them. They are adorable and the colors are nice and vibrant. My biggest complain is that they eat batteries like crazy. Even when they are not in use, the batteries drain quickly. We just opened these a couple of weeks ago and have already changed the batteries 3 times. We wanted to test the 3 mile range, so my husband took one out, barely half a mile down the street, and it wouldn't work. The sound was static, and after a few seconds, it cut out completely. This really isn't a big deal for us, but for someone wanting to buy these for the range, it could be a disappointing discovery. Overall, I'd say they were fairly priced for what they are.

I bought these walkie talkies for my niece and nephew, and they’ve been a hit from the moment the batteries went in. The 22 channels give plenty of room to play without interference, and I was surprised at how clear the sound quality is — no constant static like some other kids’ sets we’ve tried. They’re lightweight but feel sturdy, and the buttons are big enough for little hands to operate without frustration. The kids have been using them indoors, in the backyard, and even on a short camping trip, and the range has been impressive for the price. Battery life is solid — they played for hours without the low-battery beep kicking in — and the bright colors make them easy to spot when they inevitably get left in the grass. Overall, these are a perfect mix of fun and function. They encourage imaginative play, keep the kids off screens, and actually work well enough that the adults end up joining in.
