    • Needed to replace caliper seals
I had a caliper that was dragging the rotor and tried to work the piston in and out with this tool to free it up. Unfortunately that didn't fix the drag, so I ended up buying a new seal kit. The YouTubers claimed it just takes 3 minutes to change the seals. You just push in the new seals and then push in the piston back in by hand they say. How hard could it be? Well, it was a no bueno! No way could you just push a piston into my caliper by hand. There is also the complication that you have to push it in square. Thank God I had this set of tools. I installed this tool in the caliper and was able to push the piston squarely into the cylinder and fixed by drag problem. New seal set was $6 at the local auto store. Order placed, received very quickly. Used the turn in tool to turn calipers in on electric breaks, 2022 outback, removed electric connection turned calipers in and installed new breaks, pumped breaks in 5-6 times all is well no lights. No need for special electronic devices.
