The ice maker works well, but I do notice it runs very warm and ice melts quickly in the hopper because of it. Overall If you are looking for an easy to use, reasonably priced tabletop ice maker, I would recommend.

I love this ice making machine-I suck on ice all day and my refrigerator doesn’t produce enough ice. I used to have to buy sacks of ice but not anymore. I have had my ice maker replaced 4 times at a high price. So I got this product and it’s wonderful 🐈⬛

We have owned several countertop, icemakers in the past. They get a lot of use, and when our last one died, we needed a replacement, so I came to Amazon and checked reviews. This looks like a good solution. However, I can’t say that I am really sold on it. It does make ice fairly quickly but not too much. It drops a few cubes in the bottom of the basket, and then prepares to make more. When the second batch is ready to drop, the little flipper thing goes to shove them into the basket, but seems to stop before it gets them all the way to the basket. Then the indicator light comes on showing that the ice machine is full. So then it sits there and the ice starts to melt. It just seems like if we’re not on top of things and not watching it closely we never get a decent ice cube to use in our drinks because they’re half melted before we get to them. If I were to do it over again, I would not buy this machine. My husband thinks it runs quieter than our last machine and it does take up a bit less space on the counter but the quality of the ice cube just isn’t there. ... show more

After having this ice machine for a few months, I can tell you it is excellent! The ice machine in our refrigerator unexpectedly went out and after several months of buying ice we decided to go for the machine. For the cost, it really has saved us money and will continue to. The family drinks lots of ice water and we can go through a bag of ice in 1 or two days if we have company soooo this machine is our favorite. One negative I will give it is that the ice tastes very funny right out of the ice maker. Once it refreezes in the freezer it tastes fine but before that, it is kind of gross. ... show more

I specifically bought this countertop ice maker to replace my igloo brand ice maker that went out on me after many years. This new ice maker advertising it was very quiet which I thought would be awesome (since my living quarters are a little small) but once I plugged it in and it started up instantly I realized it was actually LOUDER than my previous Igloo ice maker.
